paramount hotel new york,ny 12 inch smear stain on sheets- fecal and or menstual in nature- approached me in washroom while on the toilet, 3 large indviduals, asking me to calm down and inferring that i may have created the stain on sheets! New York New York

Checked in Paramount Hotel Approx. 1415 27th dec14- dropped bags, refreshed and departed hotel for fun and adventure. I am disabled and require many stops and assistance to move amongst large crowds- as is typical for new year in new york.  Husband and myself city cycle to Katz's Deli - returned at approx. 2100 to O'Briens on 46th- sat at bar -chatted w/locals and had a few pints for husband, 2 wines for myself-departed around 2130- return to hotel (paramount) had a nightcap, 2 each, white russian, total $106.58-REALLY!

Went to room approx. 2230, undressed to pajamas, and turned down bed- 12 INCH SMEAR STAIN-Fecal and or menstrual or both in nature- called front desk; sent up 3 individuals, 1  from security, 1 from management, and 1 from housekeeping.  These folks came to the door and proceeded to burst through to the washroom, where I was on the toilet- no door between the proper room and the washroom!  They proceeded to question me- while still on the toilet- SERIOUSLY- and requested that I calm down.  I felt like I was in some weird movie at that point-I truly could not believe what was happening!!!!

The Goon Squad then inferred that maybe "I" created the said stain- I replied that I was a woman of a certain age- and did not have that monthly problem any longer! I requested a new room and they advised none available- could only change sheets-I had no intention to sleep on this bed at that point- requested they locate another affiliae hotel or alternative. The Goon Squad departed and we were addressed by the head of Security approximatley 20 minutes later and advised that the New York City Police had been called, we would be arrested and we must leave the premises immediately!  As I stated- I am severly disabled, and was very confused at this point what we had done to deserve such treatment.

My husband and I went down to the First floor to calmly and professionally discuss the situation with the head of security and the manager on duty- they refused to listen to our concerns and advised that we must leave immediately or else we would be arrested.  When my husband advised that I am disabled and could they at least assist in locating another lodging- the head of security stated that it was not the hotel's probelm, they would not assist and would charge us for the 3 day duration of our stay.

At this time I proceeded to pack up our bags and venture to locate a new hotel.  I did not possess a smart phone- we forgot our camera , and therefore had no way to document via photos and or video- I did though have a dumb phone, but as I do not engage in text, photo or anything other than essential calls- (and I feel so vulnerably stupid) we did not document any of the incidents that occurred, nor the stains on the bed. I am berating myself so much for that now!

My husband and I departed the hotel, with me crying uncontrollably, in severe pain and trekking with no clue where we would end up.  We walked to the Marriott Hotel- who , though fully booked , proceeded to locate lodging for us at the Holiday Inn, Financial District.   We want to say that this was a gem in disguise; could'nt have been happier at any other hotel- staff, housekeeping and especially the bar experience staff were well over the top!  It made such a horrible and scary experience so much, much better!

 We Love New York- We came there to escape the nasty Chicago vibe- as New York is now one of the safest cities in thde U.S.!  We adore Big City- and even though Chicago is awesomely one of the best- it is always nice to go to the City of Dreams, which is New York!  

I want to continue to come- but this last incident has left both my husbad and I with a very sour taste.

Please help if you can - All we want is a very heartfelt apology from top tier at the Paramount Hotel.

I do not think that is too much to ask. We are very humble, professional and upstanding Chicagoans- Please see what you can do to make this right.
