Parkland Health & Hospital System In Dallas, TX is so POORLY RUN, so INEPT and they show so much DISDAIN FOR THE POOR it should be considered cruel and unusual punishment to allow patients to be taken there! They're license to operate shouldn't just be REVOKED, but SET ON FIRE and POSTED UP AS AN EXAMPLE TO OTHERS to what a hospital SHOULD "NOT" BE! I'd rather DIE than be taken their to be ABUSED! Their CEO & PRESIDENT needs to be HOG TIED, HAULED OUT and TOSSED ON HIS BUM! Dallas Texas

I'm signed up with Parkland Plus. I scheduled an appointment A YEAR AND A HALF AGO to see an audiologist and ENT due to bad tinnitus in one ear and headaches and they told me it would be a YEAR AND A HALF WAIT so I waited. At least that was better than being told to wait almost TWO YEARS TO SEE A DENTIST when I had a bad Tooth abcess and was in excruciating pain! 

So I waited the year and a half to see the audiologist and ENT and on the day of my appointment I had car trouble and was a few minutes late to the audiologist and was before time for the ENT. I called up to Parkland and was told I would have to wait a whole other year to see both doctors as one can't see me without the other and they both REFUSED to see me even though I was right outside the hospital and only a few minutes late to the audiologist!

So Parkland thinks its ok to make people wait a year and a half to TWO YEARS AND A HALF to see a doctor!?

When I protested the Nurse in the ENT office screamed at me and then hung up on me! 

I called to speak to the Hospital Prresident several times by calling 214-590-8000 and was hung up on! Finally I left a message with administration and patient relations and they promised to call me back but never did.

I understand Parkland is a county hospital but I find it hard to believe they can't find an audiologist before two years? Really? To have that kind of wait is incredible.

And please no TEA PARTY FRUITCAKES on here bashing OBAMACARE. At least "OBAMA CARES" enough up try and help the uninsured! You guys know these greedy businesses are sending jobs overseas because they want cheap slave like labor and that includes not having to provide ANY benefits to their workers which has left a growing number of people UNINSURED!
