Plymouth Relocation Services Unprofessional Movers, Zero Customer Service, Liars Lake Success New York

I chose Plymouth Relocation Services to move me from CA to PA. Initially, all went well, UNTIL I could no longer get a refund for booking my moving services with Plymouth. Plymouth Relocation Services are the Brokers and supposidily hire only vetted mover. I was quoted 5 different prices after my initial deposit could not be refunded.

When the mover came he charged me an additional $334.00 on top of $2600.00 I was already paying. Joe, from Smart Movers, San Diego, CA area, my mover authorized from Plymouth, arrived with a moving van that was having engine issues. Joe was suppose to disassemble any furniture that needed to be disassembled. He 'refused' to disassemble my metal futon frame stating it was too many parts.

I was quoted a price based on 410 sq ft, Joe charged me for 600 sq ft because he would not disassemble my futon. I had 21 boxes, he charged me for 31 boxes, stating that some of my items were considered boxes. I argued but felt trapped, all my household items were already on his truck. Remember, Joe is one of Plymouth Relocations vetted movers, Plymouth has all the confidence in the world that he is an honest mover.

I paid Joe, from Smart Movers, and asked when I could expect my belongings. He stated he would be there in 6 days. I was thrilled. Now, all the lying begins - through the course of the next 6 weeks, after multiple phone calls to Joe and Plymouth Relocation and promises of delivery my household goods finally arrived. Joe gave me 5 different delivery dates, always stating he was having trouble with his truck, his truck was in the shop, his truck needed more repairs.

Two times Joe actually told me the "driver" bringing my household items truck broke down cross country and the "driver" would give me a call in 24 hours. Of course this never happened. I did all the calling, Joe never called me, he did ask me to stop calling him because it wasn't his fault that his truck was broke down. 

So, Joe, Not the "driver", and his helpers arrived with my household items, 6 weeks after they initially packed them up. I am thinking, finally I am getting all my possessions. Wrong ! I was missing alot of items, Joe "promised" when he got back the San Diego, he would be sending me the missing item. Needless to say, I have never received them.

I am missing ALL my DVD's, approximately $1000.00 worth of DVD's. I am missing all of my sewing equipment, threads, needles, bobbins, sewing shears, attachments, approximately $500.00. Those of you who are sewer's will understand the expense. My outdoor Bistro Table, approximately $75.00, of course, I got the stools that go to that table but I did not get the table, Joe forgot it. Mind you he had an inventory list but somehow it was forgotten. I am missing kitchen ware totaling approximately $150.00. 4 Afghans, Christmas decorations approximately $100.00.

I have called Plymouth Relocation numerous times in regards to reiminbursement but no one has ever called me back.

I have omitted ALOT, but wanted to give you the main reasons I consider Plymouth Relocation Services a rip off company. I want to warn those of you considering using Plymouth Relocation Services.

Bottom line, If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
