Prestige Estate Services Misrepresented Artwork / Refused Refund Lakewood CO

I would like to share an experience I had doing business with Prestige Estate Services. 

On December 8, 2021, Prestige Estate Services held an sale on Elm St in Denver. At this sale they advertised on estatesales.net they would be selling, “Salvador Dali signed limited editions”. When inquiring about the signed Salvador Dali prints, a Prestige Estate Services employee stated that the 10 prints could not be sold separately because they were an complete set and more valuable together.

I continued to ask if the pieces had been fully authenticated in which the employee promptly handed me the, “Certification of Authenticity”. I then continued to purchase the 10 prints for the amount of $20,485.80. 

On December 9th, 2021 it was confirmed by Bruce Hochman OS Salvador Dali Art Expert that in his opinion these prints were in fact NOT an complete set with matching edition numbers and contained counterfeit prints. Prestige Estate Services were contacted regarding this discovery and voiced it was not their problem as they had a no refund policy in place.
