To keep things simple as possible, I was seeking a direct response ready email list to test my new swipe copies for my offer. Mind you, this offer is a very high converting offer that has been proven, tested, and is one of the top offers in the nutraspace even with cold traffic.

I was contacted by a rep from Product Advance. I was looking for a warm email list that was engaged and had opted in to receive the types of offers that I send with the same target demographic that I have on my active list of over 500k opted in subscribers.

The rep assured me that Product Advance had this type of email list and that these leads had opted in, were sent emails on a regular basis, and were prime, warm buyers. I purchased a list rental of 100,000 "warm subscribers" in the amount of $1100.

I paid and then scheduled 2 sends to be tested on the same day which were 50,000 subscribers each with two different subject lines.... Then  everything went silent. I reached out to the rep twice and did not get a response. I reached out to the customer service/ticketing system to get answers on a few questions, and I did not get a response. To this day I have not gotten a response from a live human.

At the end of the send, I got an automated email that gave me numbers from the send. The numbers were atrocious (2% Open Rate, and .001% Click Rate). For a proven product that has been sold in high volumes via email for over 2 years this was suspicious to me. However, I didn't freak out. Rather, I checked my link through my internal software and what I found really set me off.

In my reports I found that there were only TWO actual clicks that went through. That means out of 100,000 emails that were sent out, only 2 clicks happend. Then I remembered that I checked the link and then double checked it before sending it to product advance. This means I was the person tha clicked the link twice. These two clicks were initiated by me when I tested them. that means out of 100,000 emails that were sent out exactly ZERO of these so called warm subscribers even clicked the email.

..... Look, it doesnt take a genius to realize that out of 100,000 people, SOMEBODY will click an email, even if its by mistake. Also, You could have the worst copy writer on the planet and still get atleast a 5% open rate. This shows me that this list was completely fake and this company is running a scam.

Stay away from these scammers, take it from someone who got burned.
