Our condominium hired Regatta because they were inexpensive and did we ever make a mistake. Sure, we saved a few dollar on monthly management but after we had to pay a huge fine to the City of Miami Beach, we ended up big losers.  This was after we had a horrible experience with Keystone and Barclay's Complete Property Management.  You would think with so many condos in Miami Beach that someone would have invented a good condo management company!

You hire a management company and entrust them to resolve issues and manage the daily tasks of a condominium community. As a member of the Board of our condo, the other Board members and I just do not have time to manage our building and so we entrusted this to Regatta.  A violation issued by the city was not address and we had to pay thousands to the city. If you're looking for a management that returns calls/emails, does more than basic accounting...  FORGET REGATTA or Keystone or Barclay's for that matter. None of them seem to really care that their incompetence can really affect your home.

Keystone Property Management are a fraud ...

AUTHOR: blove305 - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, January 24, 2013

Keystone Property Management Co. are really bad, unscrupulous people ... stay far far away!  Joan and John Bennett are the most duplicitous people I've ever come across.  They are dishonest,  professionally inept  and will scam your condo board every which way possible.

They mis-managed my building, Concord House Condos in Miami Beach for a few years until finally we caught them red handed in January 2011 scamming our BOD for 6k with a fake asphalt company.  John apologized profusely for pushing the job through without BOD approval, no permits, shoddy workmanship and having a non board member sign the check knowing that the BOD would never approve of 6k when we agreed on no more than 1k.  At the end John agreed by email to return all the funds back to the association's account and ended up going back on his word when we didn't agree to his payment arrangement of $250/month over the next 2 years.  He and Joan hid behind their lawyer and completely screwed us as he knew we didn't have the funds in our account to obtain any council.

Out of five different management companies used by various condos I've owned over the past 15 plus years on Miami Beach, they are the most corrupt, untrustworthy and most negatively regarded you'll find.
