Regis Regal German Shepherd Cindy Kelly Do not TRUST Cindy Kelly with your MONEY! Spring Grove Illinois

 Cindy Kelly can not be trusted with your deposit on a dog. This all began 8 months ago, when my boyfriend and I decided it was time to add a puppy to our family. We new we wanted a German Shepherd since both of us grew up with that breed our entire life, we Also adored the beauty of them. After spending 2 weeks researching and calling breeders we narrowed it down to Regis Regal and Mittelwest. Both places are located 5 minutes apart from each other. We visited both breeders but made the mistake of going with Regis regal (only because Regis Regal offered us a lower price on a dog). So we gave Cindy our $1,350 deposit (it was a requirement in order to hold a puppy for us).

Little did I know, other dog breeders said you should never give half as a deposit. Should always be $200 or lower. That was my mistake of course. Before we left Cindys house, after she had given us an hour lecture on German shepherds and how to take care of them. Her words were (I will keep you updated on absolutely everything until the day you get to bring your puppy home.) This is where it all went downhill.... 2 weeks had gone by, we received no call no text Nothing. Mind you, the puppies were suppose to be born by now. I called her, no answer. Left her voicemail, no call back. I texted her as well, a day later I receive a text saying (Sorry I've been busy, will call you later).

I get no call later, so I call her. No answer, 5 minutes later finally she calls me! She began the conversation with. (Hi, so I think you two should come down this weekend and meet my other dogs, their really great in temperment, large heads, and beautiful coats). My response, why are we meeting your other dogs? Her response (well the puppies died a week and a half ago, they died at birth so I want you to meet my other female that will be pregnant soon). I can imagine, no one would be happy in this situation. In many ways, one she told me my puppy that I put $1,350 on died a week and a half ago, something I feel I should have been notified about day of!!!!

Not only that, she doesn't even have the nerve to tell us until after she tries to get us to drive 1.5 hours to her house to look at other dogs? Of course we tell her no, I'm Sorry this isn't going to workout Maybe after you have another litter born and ready to go home will come check them out and go from there, so could we get a refund of our deposit back. Well she didn't like that answer, she said no I don't have your money. Nor do I do refunds! I looked at our contract, at the bottom of our contract it says we are entitled a refund if Regis Regal can not provide us with a puppy from the litter we had chosen. I told her this, and she didn't like that either.

She screamed at us over the phone, and said you will never see your money again and you will not ever receive a dog from me. Then she hung up on us. We called the police station to get advice on what we could do. They gave us a few ideas, some we have already taken action on which is how we were able to get $350 back from Cindy so far. Now since she still owes us $1,000 she has cut all communications off from us. However, we will not back down no matter what. We will continue to try and get our money back until we do, if that means spending money to take her to small claims court, then that's Exactly what I will do.

If I'm going to lose out on my $1,000 to a money hungry lady who tries to convince the world she loves her German shepherd, then she better believe I will make her and myself pay money just to make sure she doesn't walk off with my hard earn money for free. I have screenshots, saved text messeges, voicemails, and a few other things that can make my case in court. So my warning to everyone and anyone buying a dog from Cindy, do not give her a deposit. If something happens, you will never see the money again. Learn from my mistake, till this day I wish I would have gone to Mittelwest German Shepherds. Cindy has no feelings and does not care about anything besides a paycheck and she will say and do whatever it takes to get that money from someone! Even when it means stealing it from a 21 and 23 year old couple.
