We hired Landen and his partner, Ron Breese at Re/Max to list our house who ended up being the typical listing agents. They never showed the house and just waited for a buyer. We had multiple interested parties come to our house to inquire so we referred them to Landen. One couple gave us their phone number and after a few weeks without hearing anything, we called them. They informed us that they reached out to Landen, who asked if they had an agent. They did not but made a full cash offer and when they did not hear back from Landen, they moved on and purchased another house. We never heard anything from Landen about that offer.

After a couple of months (in this crazy market) of seemingly no interest, we finally did hear from Landen who communicated over the phone, several offers but nothing of interest. After months, Landen called my husband about an offer that was not the greatest but we NEEDED to move on so we accepted at the incessant urging of both Ron and Landen. It just became one demand after another of the buyer and it was apparent that our agents did not have our best interest at heart and were just after the commission check. They were actually siding with the Buyer’s agent!!! We did finally come to an agreement but LOST MONEY due to Ron and Landen’s greed, unethical and unprofessional actions or lack thereof.

We are so dissatisfied with them that we have been interested in 2 separate houses but after finding out they were the listing agents, we moved on. It is very sad that there is really no standard that is followed and these "professionals" are allowed to work on behalf of unsuspecting and vulnerable clients.
