Robyn Thompson Real Estate Guru steals money internet, Nationwide

I went to Robyn Thompson's seminar presented by the Charlotte NC REIA and enjoyed her all day seminar "pitch". My husband and I bought two tickets to her Junkers to Millions bootcamp and signed up for the next available one which was in June. We paid for it that day to get the "never gonna happen again" discount. (yea, right) Three weeks later, my father who is terminally ill, got sick and we felt we would not be able to commit to a 5 day bootcamp in another city so we called to get a refund. She told us we had to send her box of CDs back and then the local REIA would give us a refund.

We did not send it back within the week of that phone call due to my father being in the hospital for 20 days. When we did get around to sending it back she would not accept it because it was beyond their 30 day return policy that we did not know about. At the seminar she said anyone who bought tickets that day and went to her seminar and did not like it would get a NO QUESTIONS ASKED refund even if you go for the first 3 days! Imagine our surprise when she said that a terminal illness is not a good enough reason to not go.

She said we should just use the tickets another time (so she can continue to earn interest on our money) and that although she said anyone that goes to the bootcamp can get a refund, she told us on the phone that if we did come down to the seminar and try to get a refund, she would return our money "turtle slow". Exact words. She is taking it personally that we want our money back and she doesnt think it silly to force us to buy plane tickets to come to the seminar for a day, just to get our money back, and fly home. She said we have to look her in the eye and tell her that we didnt get value out of it, even though its supposed to be NO QUESTIONS ASKED refund!

She was yelling on the phone (yes we are her customers) even though my husband never raised his voice. She was in reaction and would not listen to any of his reasoning. Be very careful if you deal with Robyn Thompson. We are being penalized because my father is about to die and cannot leave town. She is a scam artist, the kind that urges you to buy with all the promises of returns if your not satisfied, and not only are we not satisfied, we are unable to receive the product (bootcamp) that we paid $3000 for. I'm thinking this is how she got rich and not thru real estate. Remember Robyn, what comes around goes around.
