Sawgrass Grand Hotel This motel uses web sites such as getaroom.com (and others) to lure customers in at a $48 per night then adds $50 at check out on both the internet and at the motel. Total cost $80.89 per night. It is a scam because they even know the names of other web sites which have the same set up and they don't put a stop to it. BEWARE Sunrise Florida

Sawgrass Grand Hotel, Sunrise, Florida use fradualant booking sites.  They advertise $48 per night with possibility of additional $15, which they immediately add to the bill upon checkout at the internet site.  Then at check out-  at the motel-  they add another $15+per night  -  So the $48 per night becomes $80.89 per night and the management knows this is going on and can even identify the booking sites but has not done anything to prohibit this fraud.  The one I got caught up in was www.getaroom.com, but at the hotel front desk they gave me the names of other sites which they know preputate the same scam game AND YET THE MOTEL does nothing to put a stop to the FRAUD.  Nice place, if it wasn't so  short on ethics.
