I purchased a package of Raid Double Control Large Roach Baits ($6.59), a package of 8 to control some roaches I noticed in a new place I moved into. The idea was to place these around the house and the roaches came at night to eat the bait (2 flavors of it we are told.)and take it back to the nest to kill other roaches. The instructions said to use all 8 and they actually urged and STRONGLY suggested that all 8 are to be used. I opened all of them and placed them around the apartment. What I noticed after a couple of weeks is that I started to have problems walking, my hands and arms started to fall asleep, and my hands tingled constantly. I started to get chills and had an odd taste in my mouth. What I found out is that these things were poisoning ME and must have been outgassing enough of the poison for me to breathe in to start causing nerve death and dysfunction. I'd NOT recommend this product for anyone with kids or anyone that lived in their home much at all. I fail to see how such a product can be sold at all.
