They wiggle out of contracts with 1099 workers. During the COVID I lost my primary job, and was thrilled to land a contract for employment. I was selected by this couple Mr and Mrs Vargas to work on their Amazon contract. Both of them really built the job up telling me things that (unfortunately for me) were not entirely true. For example Mrs Vargas said that Amazon awarded them a contract to install security gates. She told me there was one other company working in Phoenix Metro and then Tucson was exclusively their territory. They both told me after this was done, they were free to work where ever they wanted as Amazon told them they could work anywhere they have Amazon deliveries and town size is acceptable.

This later to find was a dream so it seems. I based my decision to work with these very unethically people on entirely falsehood that later proved to be nothing but hot air. Now I have to resort to legal measures to do what I can to force them to see the error in their ways. You two cannot play with people during a world crisis. Don't lie to get pros working for you because you are failures when it comes to outbound calling and sales. "Mikey" won because he knew what he was doing. To have me blindly call to be so embarrassed when I conveyed the wrong information you wouldn't even stand up and take responsibility; you left me holding the bag.

I worked for a week to discover their competitor named "Mikey" had cleaned up the place. He was so good at his job he essentially robbed this very naive couple of any success, but it took them a few weeks to figure it out. Placing a commission only 1099 job ad on Craigslist when a huge company like Amazon has awarded you a cherry picking sweet deal is plain stupid, but then I did respond to their ad. Find another company to contract with if you are a flex worker.

When it comes time to pay they have a lot of reasons why you will not get what you earned in good faith expecting them to follow thru with a legal contract. Mr. and Mrs. Vargas you are unethical, but also cruel messing with pay during a crisis. You will not get away with the deceit you have pulled with me, mark my words.
