Listed below however is a pretty dependable schedule on what a typical day at Serenity Rehab looks like:

• 7:30 a.m.
Breakfast
• 8:45 a.m. .
Morning Roll Call
• 9:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.
Each client has two classes based on their individual treatment plans.
• 11:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Lunch
• 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Each client attends additional classes, groups and interview/counseling sessions based on their individual treatment plans.
• 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Dinner
• 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Each client attends one evening class group, meeting or counseling session dependent upon their specific treatment plan.
• 8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Free Time. During free time, clients will utilize the game rooms, the basketball court, the hot tubs, the gym, etc.
• 10:30 p.m.
Curfew. Lights out.

Now, because the services and programs and techniques offered at Serenity Rehab are all varied and quite different depending on the client, the above can change and be adjusted to a small degree. However, even though not all clients will be working on the same programs and approaches at the same time, they will usually move through the above schedule fairly typically.

Drug and alcohol addiction is best approached on a very personal, very one on one kind of basis. However, having some stability and strictness to a day-to-day schedule that is reliable and dependable does wonders for the mindset and the calmness of any recovering addict. Though each client’s day to day schedule will be different for each person, the above time lines are pretty reliable and normal.

• Martial Arts. Serenity Rehab also offers martial arts courses. These courses teach clients peace of mind, the courses give them exercise and give them a new hobby to focus on and direct their attention to, and they teach them how to defend themselves. Plus, martial arts is a therapy in and of itself, teaching calmness, control, and responsibility.
• Creative Expression Therapy. An extracurricular activity at its very best, Serenity Rehab’s Creative Expression Therapy is an amalgamation of arts and creation as used in addiction treatment.
