I had ordered groceries numerous times from Shop Rite in New Hyde Park for my elderly mother. I had noticed on 3 occasions that there were significant discrepancies between items delivered and what was on the receipt. Some items were missing while other items were charged at much larger quantities than what was ordered. I called the store each time after this happened but was unable to get through to anyone when I called.
I finally went to ShopRite and I was told to speak with the manager. I had brought the items of the last delivery with me and the receipt. When I told the manager, Seth Greenfield, about what happened, he pulled his mask down, walked right in front of my face, and yelled at me saying that I could not verify anything and that I may be a thief if I left the store with the food I was holding. I was mortified and left. I was shocked by Mr. Greenfield's violent confrontation and complete disregard for the spread of disease and human dignity.

I have witnessed Seth Greenfield harassing shoppers at the New Hyde Park ShopRite by calling them names and using curses while around children. I have shopped at other supermarkets and ShopRites and never witnessed such behavior.

Seth Greenfield Unprofessional Ticking Time Bomb

I met Seth Greenfield after I was at customer service trying to return an item. First, he thanked me profusely for shopping at his store. He turned to an employee who asked him a question him and then berated her, right in front of me, about her distracting attire, performance, attendance and then sent her off teary eyed.
He then told me that while there is no basis that he needs to accept my return - that he will accept it but my membership is revoked and with a grin: "Thank you for shopping at ShopRite. I hope you enjoy the rest of your wonderful day." This man was either aloof or unhinged or both. Professionalism aside, I hope he gets some help.

I have delivered merchandise to the New Hyde Park Shoprite where Seth Greenfield was. There was always a guy who I noticed was fighting with someone, belittling one of his workers, arguing with a shopper, or making a scene. I've seen him punch walls and suddenly yell at an employee when she was on top of a ladder.
I was amazed to hear that this human powder keg somehow got a job as a manager. The people I know who act like this are in prison - not even anger management. I suppose the employees learned to tolerate him. He always sounded like he was going to assault someone when he shouted and cursed at the top of his lungs. I wouldn't be surprised if I find out that he murders someone.
