One day, I was called by Sherri Brinskelle- My parents neighbor- She had made an offer to me in which I could not refuse- It was to rent out her home because she wanted to be in NC on Lake Norman- To go from a 2 BR Apartment to a 5 BR home was really a no brainer- For the same amount in rent- I was thrilled to death!
When my family & I arrived we couldn't of been happier- We had found a place to call home- We signed the lease with the option to purchase in which everything seemed normal- *seemed*
Her move out dates changed 5 different times- I thought that Ms. Brinskelle was having problems with her business or costs of moving- So we waited patiently- Finally! MOVE IN DAY! The children were more excited than I was- It seemed like a dream- To all of us- I then started getting phone calls from Sherri only two months into the lease- She kept asking me about my ongoing litigation due to a terrible accident that I was involved with- Sustaining life altering injuries- Wanting money from me to purchase this house- Not concerned about my health at all which totally raised some red flags with me-
One day, I was at the local Grocery Store- A neighbor came up to me- He had asked me if I had heard what Sherri did? I said, no- He went on to say that she was being investigated for defrauding Insurance Companies because she was a therapist, to help people who needed help with mental health- Even before I found out, I only saw Sherri once- Once because in the session, I felt very uncomfortable, as if she was going to tell other people about my problems- In which she did- So with all that I just typed, I contacted my Insurance Carrier in which I found out that she charged me for sessions in which I never saw her- According to the agent, Sherri Brinskelle charged me several times in which two claims were denied- I was shocked- But this is where it gets better- She had called my PARENTS BEHIND MY BACK to see if they would co-sign for a loan for me to purchase her home- Talk about being desperate!
When I confronted her, asking her why she did this, she said, that she had to "protect her good name" and needed the money to do so- YOU DO NOT NEED ANY MONEY TO PROTECT YOUR NAME unless you did something wrong in which she did- 51 counts of defrauding Insurance companies to go on cruises, take vacations, purchasing high priced items, living well beyond her means, and flaunting it! When she told me this, I bit my tongue! I wanted to tell her that I knew what she did but I didn't- I'm still not sure to this day why I did not but I guess it was for the better- I took the upper road in this- Not stooping to her level- Hindsight is 20/20 anyway-
We had a flood- It was pretty devistating- All of the things that she did not take with her were left in the garage- Who had to clean it? Not her! We did- Who had to fix anything that went wrong in this house? We did- And it states in the lease, all repairs will be done by them- Unless we broke something- Which we didn't- We took care of this house better than they ever did- We may of not had all the expensive things that they had but we sure worked hard for what we had, unlike Sherri who stole from the Goverment to pay for her own expenses and personal items- Surely, her husband who is a retired police officer had to know her goings on but who will ever know if he did- She had total control of her finances meaning that she had a copy book and wrote down every single financial transaction in which I saw, sitting with her in the beginning- I keep a ledger but I sure don't keep it secret- She held onto that book as if it were gold- I should of known better and now I do-
Since, I received a notice to quit- PA law requires the notice to be delivered by hand, not in the mail- Reason to vacate: SELLING PROPERTY- And she gave me 6 days to move out! Being disabled, having 3 small children, a husband who works very hard, it was obvious that we had a problem- So with that said, I contacted my lawyers in which they said that she had no legs to stand on- All based out of being desperate- And during the course of living here, I received a phone call from a federal agent asking me questions- I told her the truth- I found out that she is going to jail and that she is a slum lord- I mean, come on- She left us without a stove for 14 days! How I wanted to say something to her! It was so hard not to but knowing that I will no longer have to deal with her, knowing that she is going to jail is good enough for me!
She really screwed over a lot of people in this town! Some are still in denial but when she turns on them, they are in for a shock- Sherri basically killed everyone with kindness- So everyone thought that she was a very nice, kind, and caring woman- Far from it!!! She is a manipulator- She is a liar- She preys on the weakness of others- And thinks that everyone is stupid- Well, she has another thing coming with me- I'm not as stupid as she thought-
Google her Brother, Peter Ferrulli- She followed in her brothers foot steps! Pitiful to say the least- That is all :)

Her and her husband, Sean Horner, are nothing more then low life thieves who will cheat and steal from anyone. She pretends to be hurt and sues for her injuries. She will be going around in a wheel chair at her kids games for all to see but be carrying out the trash an hour later.
She is addicted to prescription painkillers and they will steal them from people’s homes when given the chance.
She has been arrested many times for theft and vandalism. She is up on charges of fraud for food stamp and welfare fraud, and has been convicted of several other crimes.
She has filed several reports making her children “special needs” to scam extra money from the state.
Her husband Sean has been arrested for drug and theft from homes.
They used money they scammed from people including a BS lawsuit to by a house at 6253 Herrickville rd.
They both use their children Eleanor, Jacob and Vincent to gain peoples trust and then steal from their homes first chance they get.
They will sponge off everyone they can, not pay bills, skip out on everything they can.
They stay between her family in Wyalusing, PA and his parents in Phoenix Arizona.
She has gone as far as slamming on her brakes to get rear-ended so she can get money and pain killers.
Her twin brother Carl has nothing to do with her and has been watching her manipulate the family since she was young.
Rita and Sean Horner will do anything they can to get a quick, scammed buck. Do not ever give these people or their children access to your home or vehicle. You will be sorry.

I am glad the house was sold. It looks very nice. I just hope that the owners know what they've gotten into... I am pretty sure that they did but they made the house/barn look great! I do not think that I could of done a better job and the people who moved in are really nice folk!

Better yet- Just don't screw anyone over anymore like you did to me. And again, factor out the lawyers, the parents. "reliable sources", you can spin your story anyway that you want because only the four of us really knows what happened! And if you think that you can try to have my words removed about you, try again. I have every right to type what I did because what you did was WRONG. It was very hurtful. Mean. Manipulating. Deceptive. But I can see that you still do not understand what you did. Or you just do not care. Either way, I have every right to speak up about what happened! Because what you did was WRONG. Nothing more and nothing less. And yes, the truth hurts but when asked to file a retraction to say that none of this ever happened, again, I cannot. I am not dishonest. Or loose with the truth! What I did was speak the truth and nothing but.... And if you had just thought about who you were hurting, you might have thought twice about doing what you did but you didn't.
What you should of done was apologize for what you did. And that would of been sufficient enough. But you did not. And that just showed that you did not care about what you did!
Here is some food for thought- I don't want to see you get taken advantage of, the way you took advantage of me.
What is SEO?
The term can refer to many different things, but in general it is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Search_engine_optimization the process of improving the visibility of a website or a web page in search engines via the natural or un-paid (organic or algorithmic) search results. HUH?
In plain English, reputation management or SEO companies will typically promise to help you hide negative complaints about your company. Sounds good, right?
These companies usually do this by creating positive profiles on social networking and other sites which are designed to rank highly in search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo! (NOTE you can do this yourself for free). These companies may even claim that for a $995 up-front fee and $109.00 per month they can remove negative information from the Google search results. In our experience, that is false. If you see any website that claims to be able to remove content from a search engine like Google, you should view this as a MAJOR red flag.
What SEO or reputation management companies are really saying is that they can create positive web pages that will show up before the negative ones, thereby pushing the negative results lower, maybe to the second or third pages of Googles search results. The negative pages are never removed, they are just a little harder to find. And, these results are often only temporarya negative complaint may be pushed down for a few days or weeks, but then will suddenly pop back up to the top of the results putting you back at square one. Those who have used these services claim that the SEO company will make things even worse.
Of course, you may find that the Reputation Management SEO company has no guarantee of results. IF they do, they are more than likely based overseas, so once they have your money, you may have absolutely no recourse if they fail to deliver results. Get ready for threats and intimidation. See below.

Also, if the SEO Company is promising to actually remove the negative information from Google, they may be breaking the law. Ripoff Report recently uncovered a reputation management scheme, that actually involved injecting unauthorized code into the website -- a criminal offense. The companies who paid for that service not only contributed to the crime but their listing also ended up right back at the top of the search engines once the illegal code was removed.
SEO Companies Promise Help, But May Become Your Worst Nightmare
Ripoff Report has been told that some Reputation Management SEO companies have even threatened their own customers keep paying, or the Reputation Management SEO company will create even MORE complaints about you! This is shocking, but we have heard these stories over and over again. Links to some of these horror stores are below and more to come. Many have told Ripoff Report they are afraid to post anything about them in fear of retaliation as many have been threatened. Dont let that friendly salesperson fool you.
Heres the problem -- once the Reputation Management SEO company knows who you are and knows that your business is worried about online attacks, they know you are vulnerable. Armed with that knowledge, unscrupulous Reputation Management SEO companies may even engage in digital extortion by threatening to create more false complaints about you unless you continue paying them. ONE OF MANY RED FLAGS
While there may be some legitimate SEO companies out there, many are fly-by-night operations which have no physical address. They often call themselves affiliates working with other Reputation Repair companies. Even if the company claims to have a U.S. address, this may just be a rented mailbox or a virtual office (virtual offices are simply addresses offered for rent to make a company appear more legitimate, but the company is more than likely not actually located at that address). Reputation management - SEO companies that are actually based overseas in dangerous places like Nigeria, Romania, Russia, India, and places like Canada, can make it look like that are in California, Florida, Colorado, Texas and places in-between using many different VOIP phones along with throw-away cell phones in their advertising. So if you give them your hard-earned money and dont see any results, you may have little or no legal recourse at all. Even if they advertise on the radio or TV, or if they are a big publicly held company, .. that is no assurance that the company is reliable.
SEO Companies Operate under many different names
Some companies market themselves using dozens of different names because they end up blackmailing customers forcing them to continue to pay them, threatening they will make things worse.. Consumers will always find negative comments if they are out there, even if they have to search past page 3 or 20 on search engines, they will find it.
Many SEO companies cannot even hide negative complaints about themselves from the Internet so they have to keep changing their name.
Tips for Dealing With SEO Companies
Before you decide to hire an SEO company, here are a few suggestions. First, conduct a search on Ripoff Report for SEO and the word Reputation and take a few minutes to read the horror stories that other people have experienced. While Ripoff Report does not generally investigate or vouch for the accuracy of complaints, the sheer volume of reports about reputation management - SEO companies should give you an idea of the warning signs to look out for on Ripoff Report and other places on the Internet.
As we stated above, most people are very afraid to speak out about these companies as they have been threatened by these companies that they will make things worse if they dont continue to pay or if they say anything about them on the Internet.
Second, if you are approached by a reputation management SEO company, ask them to provide you with their physical address in the United States. If they dont have a U.S. address, then you should immediately look elsewhere. Of course, if they give you an address in the U.S., you should run a search and try to determine if this is a real office or simply a virtual one or a rented mailbox. One common virtual office provider is a company called Regus, so if you see that name associated with a particular address, this is a good indication that its a virtual office, not a real one.
Third, you should NEVER pay anything up-front to an SEO company. Legitimate SEO companies will agree to show results before you are charged anything, so if you are asked to pay first, thats a huge red flag that should convince you to walk away immediately. Again, once you let them know you are slightly interested, more than likely they will make things worse for you and you will be beholden to them forever.
Finally, if you are hell-bent on using an SEO Reputation Management company, Never, Ever pay any SEO company via any method other than a major credit card. This means no checks, no debit cards, no Paypal, and no wire transfers. If you happen to get ripped-off by an SEO company, only a major credit card can protect you by allowing you to dispute the charge and get your money back. So, if you are contacted by an SEO company that wont accept your credit card, you should assume you will have absolutely no way to get your money back if you arent happy with the results.
BEST ADVISE DO NOT PICK UP THE PHONE WHEN THEY CALL, AND DO NO CALL THEM BACK
By telling a reputation management / SEO company that you are willing to talk to them, you are telling them that you are probably willing to pay them. You could be telling them that if things get just a little bit worse, you will break down and pay them big money to fix it by hiding the problem. That could tempt an unscrupulous company into making your problem worse. No kidding, we have heard of it.

We had to leave Pennsylvania to be with my husband's Father who is Terminally Ill- We wanted to spend time with him- We wanted our children to be with their Grandfather during that difficult time- It was a very difficult move for everyone- It proved harder on me because I only knew Pennsylvania-
But we got to see a lot of amazing things and places- We all adjusted- Overcame- Improvised- We were having lots of fun as a Family unit- Then within the blink of an eye, I was involved in a terrible accident which left me with Full Body Reflex Sympathtic Dystrophy and then I had to come home- A year after, I received a phone call out of the blue to rent out the home that we were in-
In thinking of what Sherri Brinskelle told me, "I hope you are loving your new home as much as we did," it was really a dream come true for my family & I for we finally had roots! But in actuality, it was a slap in the face- I prided myself in taking care of that house- I kept it neat and clean- Everything that went wrong in that house, I or my husband fixed or cleaned-
Made everything shine- I know and my friends know, who came to visit with us and spend time with us, that I did right by it- I was a very good tenant paying my rent 1-2 weeks in advance
Worked through so much pain and suffering to make it our home- It was going to be ours- We just had to work out some things before we could purchase the home-
Ten months living in the house, that is when we received the notice to quit- Sherri didn't want to wait- She wanted to sell now- All to protect her good name, is what she said to me!
The kids miss their rooms now- They kept asking me why we had to leave and I told them why- They were upset but they sure understood- They still look over asking why we can't go back- That's sad! I miss the privacy that my husband and I had-
But I am for the better as I will learn from all of this and know that if something is to good to be true, IT IS! Without any question-
DO NOT hesitate to walk away and say, no thank you!!!!
Hindsight is 20/20 anyway- And everything happens for a reason!

Mrs. Brinskelle IS a slumlord allowing me to fend for myself with total disregard for a written lease- I was majorly flooded out 2 months ago- Where was the landlord? The property was damaged- Mrs. Brinskelle left personal belongings behind when she left in a rush- They got damaged- Who was gong to clean it up? It was attracting Vermin! Mrs. Brinskelle? She was not here- Where was she? It was more than difficult to clean up from the flood since I am in constant pain, in what ever I do-
In the lease, it clearly states that they would fix anything that was broken except if we broke it- We broke nothing- We tried to better the property until Mrs. Brinskelle sent us a letter to stop even though her husband gave us the go- The home is infested with vermin- The septic is bad according to a repairman who had talked with me- Toilets do not work in Tandem- Raw sewage backing up through the main shower and toilet- I had to clean it EVERY TIME! Back breaking work! They did not fix it- Still not- Them insisting that I was placing non flushables down the toilet- Sorry, try again! I use a trash can! And in explaining all of this to Mrs. Brinskelle or her husband, all I received were excuses- And then I was ignored- And there were many parts of the kitchen that could not be used- Drawers- In one, I found a Mice poison- We didn't put it there so they LIED!
I asked one very specific question before we moved in- I couldn't of been more clear! Is there anything about this house that I need to be concerned with? The answer was NO- So that would make her lying person- She preyed on my weakness and used me from the very beginning from when she made me an offer to rent this house out- Mrs. Brinskelle DID think that I was stupid- She may not with others but she did with me!
Deceitful for going behind my back and contacting two good people who had NOTHING to do with her or this lease between Mrs. Brinskelle and I- Desperate in asking these good folk to cosign for me- And when I confronted her on this issue, Mrs. Brinskelle told me that she had to sell the house, to get money, to protect her good name- After knowing that Mrs. Brinskelle charged for sessions in which I only saw her once, she did steal from the Goverment because I was on Medicaid- After I was left disabled with a life altering disease, she preyed apon my weaknesses- This I cannot say for others but Mrs. Brinskelle did it to me!
Mr. Parker,
#1. When I called my Insurance Company I found that Mrs. Brinskelle made several claims to me in which two were denied, when I only saw her ONCE! Manipulating the system- It was a Criminal act!
#2. I called the appropiate Agency- They told me that Mrs. Brinskelle was already being investigated for 51 counts of Insurance Fraud- And will be charged- How true that is who knows- I do not know nor do I care! That is what was TOLD TO ME!
#3. I began getting phone calls from Federal Agents regarding Mrs. Brinskelle- I have enough bullsht to worry about- They asked me questions and I told them the truth- Yes, I saw the way they lived- It was quite comfortable- Beyond their means, in my opinion-
In truth who will really know what Mrs. Brinskelle did to others but I know what she did to me! And remember to keep my husband out of this! He has nothing to do with anything that I say or do! He works hard everyday for his money and DOES NOT NEED this happy horse s**t- He has not one word for either you, Lou or Sherri Brinskelle- He doesn't believe in wasting time with such foolishness- He couldn't of been more kind!
Now, we are out of their house- And to get over how I was used and abused by Mrs. Brinskelle.... And much better for it! I'll get over it- I won't be harassed for money- Did I mention that Mrs. Brinskelle left me without a stove for 15 days? It's against Pennsylvania Law to do that-
