Steve Gordon Pretends to want to buy my art Chicago Illinois

See the attached quotes from email received from a Steve Gordon. He supposedly wants to order two of my art works.  Sounds suspicious.I am afraind to have said cashiers check enter my bank. I don't want him to empty my bank account.    "As a matter of importance i will like to know if you accept cashier's check as a means of payment?   My reason for choosing check as a means of payment is owing to the fact that my wife handles the family bank cards and paypal/Venmo transactions etc.   So i'm choosing check to keep this a complete surprise as intended.  

I would authorize a check to you for the payment of the chosen piece of work as soon as i have your full name and contact address.    As soon as you receive the check and it clears your bank, I will have my personal shipping agent (who is also moving my other properties) contact you to arrange shipping/pick up of the piece from you. This is to avoid my wife receiving it, if been directly shipped to my address which would ruin the surprise for the wedding anniversary.   I will be looking forward to receiving your phone number, full name and physical address that the check should be issued to.   Regards,

hello.. You need no worries about shipping. Like I told you in my earlier email, that I want to make this gift a surprise for my wife, so if been directly ship to my house it will ruin the surprise. just make sure is well packed and ready for pick up.
