Strayer University Owings Mills Campus Stole My Student Refund in the amount of $1,200.00 and continually to charge in accurate charges to my account on a $193.00 book that i have made two payments in the amount of $93.42. Owings Mills, Maryland

January 23, 2012 To whom it may concern:This letter is being written because of the dire situation that has transpired to the following four students were currently attending the Owings Mill campus sites; Operational Management Course #515, the issues of concern started last fall semester first week of October 3, 2011, in operational Management class. We are all are requesting that $1,277 be returned back to us in the form of a refund check. Upon attending Professor, C. M. , our first class the experience was not a positive or pleasant experience. After class many of the students met with the professor with questions regarding the material she was covering: Break even and Algebra formulas and computation. The entire class expressed to the Professor that they have never had Break even Algebra formulas and computation and we were all having difficulties and did not understand the information that was being presented.After, everyone conveyed the above concerns to the Professor none of our concerns were answered or addressed. She totally disregarded our concerns and dismissed the class. On 10/10/2011 Students: V.M., D. A., E.C. and D. J. C. met with Professor M. during week #2 for a second time, after class regarding the same existing issues and questions and concerns. Once again many of the student s in the class issues were ignored and not addressed. Instead students were told per Dr. M that I am not a math teacher I did not come here to teach math or the Break Even Algebra computation. Students should have been taught prior in another class. After that response Dr. M. received numerous complaints in regards to never having Break even Algebra formulas and computation and not understanding the material. I (D. J. C.) asked Dr. M. how do you expect students to do the class work and homework if you do not explained or instruct us what to do? Can you please least give least one or two examples on the board? She ignored my request as well as the entire class and she continued to move forward with introducing another chapter from the Operational Course Text book.  On 10/11/11The following morning at 10:00 am immediately drove back to the Owings Mills Campus V.M., D. A; , E.  C. and I (D. J. C.) met with the Owings Mills Campus site Director Mrs. D L and expressed our concerns and issues regarding our class, and look for possible solutions, resolution and  remedies regarding our class. After attending last night class all of us: feared falling behind in our class work and home work assignments and then, possibly failing the entire course due to Dr. M. negligence and inadequately teach us and the entire class. In addition her callous and unconcerned and unprofessional attitude.  I informed the campus director about the professors attitudes towards the student and the statement that she made I am not a math teacher I did not come here to teach math or the Break Even Algebra computation. Students should have been taught prior in another class. Moving forward she began to induce another Chapter from the operational Management book. We all  stated to the Owings Mill Campus Director that the entire ordeal was a complete night mare. The way Professor M. was teaching the class was not conducive to our academic learning. We all were told by the Campus Director, Mrs. L inaccurate information. Mrs. L stated that Their absolutely nothing that she could do.However we can withdrawl  during the 8th week of class to avoid being  finanical penalized with -out fees and avoid being penalized academically.  The campus Director then referred to the Campus Dean, J. B. All of the above students: V. M., D. C., E. C. and I (D J C)Conveyed and expressed the same exact concerns to Dean Bregarding us: and the entire class have expressed to the Professor that they have never had Break even Algebra formulas and computation and we were all having difficulties and did not understand the information that was being presented.  The Professor refuse explained or instruct us what to do? She refuses to give least one or two examples on the board? She ignored all of our request as well as the entire class. We also informed the Dean about the professor's  callous and unconcerned and unprofessional attitude towards the entire class and her negligence and inadequately style of teaching. In addition request to sit-in of Intro to Business Class 100 class because this was being offer a different day during the week. We all feared falling behind in our class work and home work assignments and then, possibly receiving an F for the entire course.  Due to Dr. M. negligence to teach us and the entire class.At first Dean B  stated we could sit-in Into Business 100 then she stated no we could not. We were all told to put in a Case management report so that the issue could be address. Dean Barber promised to supply us with a tutor. The tutor that was provided to all of us V M, D A, E C and I (DJC) was under graduate professor who had no knowledge of Operational Management Course. The professor name was M L, when V M and myself D J. C met with professor he UN knowledgeable at all about our course subject he was rather Demeaning in telling us to write out our multiplication factor out. He went on to say When you have question regarding the Break even formulas you should ask you teacher.   If you do your multiplication factor it will always bring you back to square one. Your class professor should help you with this. *I thought to myself Right back to square one! After attending two fruitless session, non conducive to our learning environment.* Frustrated, stressed and still unable to understand or do the Break even formulas, computation or its process. I stop attending Lawler tutoring session and continue on attending Molyneaux class and we prepared ourselves to just to fail on Molyneaux class.While attending Molyneaux class on 10/31/2011 she was exteremly rude and un professional she went on talking about how she was not a math class and she stated that she hated coming to Strayers on Monday she wish it snow and have a blizzard so she would not have to teach Monday night classes at Strayers. she stated how she especially hated teaching our class. After listening to professor  M demean and irate the entire V M  and myself (D J. C) pack our belongs up and left. We immediately contacted the Owings Mills Campus Director and Campus Dean, J B reported professor M behavior . Once again. It was ignored.  After attending a total of eight weeks,(11/18/2011) and not learning absolutely nothing we all V  M  , D A , E  C  and D  J. C   decided to withdrawal from professor M class before we fail the entire class. We all contacted:the Owings Mills Campus Director and Campus Dean, J  B , Campus Financial Aid Managerwas assured that everything would be fine and we would not be financial penalized with fees and avoid being penalized academically. According to Strayer Catalog 2011-2012 page 20 Quarter Course for Virginia Student not enrolled at Virginia Campus Add/Drop Policy and course withdrawal policy state last date of attendance for students to withdrawal after the eight week of attending class tution will by paid at 100 percent. We all contacted direct loan# 1-800-848-0979 or 315-738-6634 and sallie mae Representative, Mr. S. Fowler#  1-888-272-5543 we all were told: that neither of the loan companies charge us .The loans were disperse to the school. Once loans are dispurse it goes to Strayers any balance that you are being charged are coming directly from Strayer University financial Aid offices. Which means that none of the students that withdrew with-in the eight week  time frame was never charged by should have been charged by Strayers financial aid department.Once again,we are all: V  M  , D  A , E  C  and D  J. C are requesting that $1,277 be returned back to us in the form of a refund check.   

* BELOW IS A SECOND INCIDENT OF HOW STRAYER IS STEALING MORE MONEY FROM ME BY INACCURATELY CHARGING ME TWICE FOR A BOOK THAT I HAVE ALREADY PAID TWO PAYMENT ON> READ LETTER BELOW.

Dear Mrs. B,
I spoke with you on Feb. 17, 2012 I am disputing the incorrect amount that Strayer is stating that I owe 193.42 I am requesting that the $93.42 be corrected and updated in Strayer's  system. I spoke with you briefly on today regarding errors with my financial account. I am demanding that this error be corrected and my accounted information be updated which the correct amount and information at once.
 I once owed $193.42 for a book during the Summer 2011 Semester. On November 18, 2011 I have a signed  promissory note reflecting a break down payment of: 3 payments in the amount of $33.34. Which, I have already made two cash payments toward my debt, one payment was made on November 18, 2011, in the amount of $62.28. Another cash payment was made on December 14, 2011 in the amount of $31.14 which is a grand total of $93.42.  Which means I only owe $100 for this book. As proof  I have received two cash payment receipts from Owings Mills financial aid office reflecting payments that I had already made pertaining to this balance. In additional I have promisory note date on August 2011.
However, when I reviewed my financial account online I notice that D A is still charging me twice for a book that I recently made two payments totaling $193.42.It appear to me that monies that I paid was enter in the system as a debt $93.42 instead of a cash payment. I have try on numerous occasions to bring to both financial Aid Office: the Owing Mills Campus business Office Manager, D A and White Marsh Campus Business Office Manager, C M attention. However, both campus offices  refuses to correct this error and update the correct amount and  information. 
I am demanding that this error be corrected immeadiately and my accounted information be updated with the correct information at  both campus: Owing Mills Campus  and White Marsh Campus. If error is not corrected immeadiately you leave me no choice but to contact an attorney.
