Refund Issued - Error Corrected

This reply post is submitted by the merchant services company Online IPS, which is responsible for providing Streamray.com with credit card payment services. Our intent in posting this reply is to explain the circumstances of this transaction error. The transaction in question was refunded in full on or about Dec. 7th, 2017.
The label (descriptor) appearing in a cardholder's credit card statement identifies the business that charged the customer. The descriptor label is placed by the credit card acquiring bank of the business processing the transaction.
In this case, a technical error at the acquiring bank caused this transaction to be labeled with the billing descriptor of a different, unrelated business. The Streamray.com organization did not initiate this transaction, did not receive any funds and is entirely unaffiliated with the transaction. The technical flaw that caused the Streamray.com name to be erroneously attached to this transaction was promptly resolved by the acquiring bank, and the transaction was refunded. The Streamray.com organization was in no position to be aware of this transaction before being alerted to the issue by those involved, and makes every effort to ensure its customers are properly supported.
We regret this error and if the cardholder affected would like further info regarding the details of this error, we would be happy to assist in answering those. Please contact us at info@onlineips.net with any questions.
