I met Summer through a mutual friend, she was also his boss.this is the same summer that won miss usa in 1975. She offered me a job and a rental unit here in merced, ca. she insisted I work off the rent. She stated repeatedly that she had tons of work for me and needed my expertise to expedite her renovation projects. during my close to two years of employment she managed to cut my hours almost down to nothing,almost immediately, take taxes from my checks without paying it to the proper departments, force me to work for free on the clock, erased hours off my time card without pay,etc. it was a nightmare. she managed to put me thousands of dollars in the hole, as she passed off my rental as a "beautiful home". my house had no insulation in the walls or cielings, rats, mice, spiders, fleas, and any other nuisance pest you can think of. forced me to care for a sick dog she abandoned on the property. the roof in my bathroom leaked for two years, and finally collapsed. she sent someone over to put a tarp on the roof a couple weeks before i moved. this was not the worst of her rentals either. at one point a tree on the proprty was dropping huge limbs and one fell on the house and my motorcycle. it crushed the roof in partially and caused 2500 worth of damage to my motorcycle. she promised to pay for it but never did. she forced me to file a false statement with the insurance company to protect her from the negligence claim. when the ins co ruled that it was not her fault, even though i have pictures taken over the course of two years showing the negligence, i was left out to dry. i have since been ignored by her and the ins co. she is a con artist and a thief. do not rent from her. matter fact, stay away! far away. i need someone to help me seek compensation from her. if anyone has any pointers, let me know.
