A month after making my purchase of a 2015 Ford Focus Bart and his wife Mariel contacted me saying that I owe 80 some odd dollars for a DMV fee. But wait didn't you charge me tax tag and title fees and a dealer fee? Well sir you have to understand that the lender lowballs us so you can't expect us to pay for this.
Wait... What???
I already paid over 10,000 for a car that was marked $7,950 - I bought the warranty didn't argue with them about dealer fees and put down $1,000. Now they want more 12 days before Christmas and when I try to talk to them they say that they WILL get their money by placing a lein against my car!!!!!
Just another shady car dealer to steer clear of.

You fully admitted to going along with their BOGUS FEE. Exactly what do you think that told them about you? Any dealer which adds BOGUS FEES is telling you in advance their intention to DECEIVE and DEFRAUD you!
The BOGUS FEE scam works like this: They LIE to you about the real price of the car and make it up with some SLEAZY BOGUS FEE and that's a FACT. They try to DECEIVE you into thinking its some type of legitimate fee by giving it an official sounding name or some oddball amount.
When you question dealership pond scum about their BOGUS FEE SCAM, their excuse is "we make full disclosure". So does the guy at the 711 when he walks into the place with a gun and mask. What you've experienced is nothing more than another example of the sleazy car business with all of its stench, slime and pond scum.
To get a lien, they wil need to go to court. Don't give up on this and if you should go into court, bring oxygen as the slime from the dealership will come along with their coating of stench!
