My husband received a call from Sunnys Travel on our way home from the VA. We were on speaker so I could hear as well. We were told about this wonderful vacation package that we could purchase for $698.00. The solicitor said that they were offering this "deal" at such a discounted rate to promote these locations. So we got this great deal to our understanding so that we could promote these resorts by word of mouth to our friends. Included was a 5day/4night stay in Orlando that included a continental breakfast along with 2Adult tickets to either Disney or Universal & a $500 funpack of 2 for 1 coupons. 3days/2nights in Daytona Beach, Cocoa Beach, Miami, &Ft Lauderdale. All of these resorts were included & with an ocean view.

In addition there were two cruises included. #1) 4days/3nights on the Royal Carribean to Nassau Bahamas. This included food & only paying $100pp for port fees for each night on ship =$600. #2) 5days/4nights on the Bahama Celebration to Grand Bahamas Freeport. 2 nights on ship & 2 at the Island Palms Resort. Also $100pp per night on ship = $400 for 2 people. Breakfast included at the land hotel. We were than given an additional 4day/3night on the Vegas Strip with $100 in casino benefits. To make it sweeter they were throwing in companion vouchers for the airlines do that the second plane ticket would only be $25.00. I wrote ALL of this down as my husband was driving so I knew exactly what vacations we purchased at this discounted rate. We were told we'd have to attend a small presentation at one of the land resorts before taking the cruise. Sounds great huh? Well, after taking four months to pay this off being my husband is a disabled Veteran & I'm disabled as well due to an accident, we received our package.

Everything is so wrong after reading the fine print that he failed to tell us about. First, that Royal Carribean cruise is not included. Its in our package stating port fees between #150-300pp? What happened to $100? It also states "since your package is all land stays, we make these cruises available to you as an option to supplement your land vacation &we can book these for you or you can book them yourselves- the cost of the cruise will be the same". "Feel free to search for a better deal"? The cruise & stzy package to Freeport is $210pp? At the bottom of each land stay in the fine print it also states that we must both be full time employed, meet their standards of 620 on a credit score & our address have to match. This of course was omitted. We recently made our marriage official & maintain each of our homes addresses on our license & plan to keep it that way. We're both disabled so that full time job doesn't exist for us in our qualifications. They also failed to tell us that each of these stays require us to pass a credit score & that you must take a tour at EACH resort & meet all of their qualifications or at anytime while your there attending this presentation if you don't meet the demigraphics they've lined out you will be charged at tge minimsl $189 per night? ? You can only attend one presentation in a two year period & cannot be a vacation club owner. Some of the fineprint varies on who is giving the presentation. vacation club or la fiesta. It also states we only have 18 months ...not three years to use these. We were not told we had to go to a presentation for each, that if we actually bought one it would void all the other vacations that we evidently can't take anyway because you are limited to one presentation every two years & that this includes if a family member views a presentation all the way to a 2nd cousin ??? That each individual haa outlines on how much of a deposit you havw to pay that you don't alwsys get back in cash but in food or entertainment vouchers? That you have to pay the taxes and a surcharge at each resort that is a ridiculous amount.

We were NOT told that we had to meet any requirements other than fitting in an age range & asked if we had a major credit card. They didn't sell us dream vacations they misrepresented everything they tomd us. What they did was sell us the dream if getting these vacations at a reduced price. We have a timeshare & they GAVE us a weekend getaway to listen to the sales pitch. Our timeshare didn't charge US to listen. Sunnys travel is doing just that. They are charging to listen to a sales pitch & after you GET there if you don't meet their standards than they'll charge you more A LOT more. Then if you purchase you lose all other vacations you paid for that are not really vacations at all. So what we really bought was an opportunity to listen to a sales pitch that if we don't meet their standards gives them the right to steal more of our money since we have to send in our credit card info ahead of time when booking. We did call on this of course. Teresa sent us the air vouchers that of course have to be used by THEIR company. When we were told we could use them with any company including Orbits. Lee told me that we could take ALL the vacations in our book & that although in writing it states we only have 18 months they can extend it another 18 and that they'll give us a courtesy call as the time nears. I found that hard to believe because they misrepresented everything else. Then as I wsd trying to ask him more questions he hung up on me. My husband then talkef to Donnie asking for a refund. He started to tell Donnie why but Donnie quickly stated for misrepresentation ? Wow .. this just told us that they must be used to people wanting their money back. He sa I'd he had to turn it over to be investigated. We haven't heard back. Its been over a week & since my husband had to have another military related surgery I tried calling. Both numbers. Customer service at 954-587-0595 & the direct line to Teresa st 954-454-1552. However, this must not be her direct line because both numbers have a voicemail with a guys voice.

We want our money back! We went on a vacation spill when we got married in Hawaii ...which we budgeted for a long time .... and they PAID US to listen! ! This is NOT a dream vacation. They charged us to sell us something we don't need or want. This was not & is not a discounted vacation to spread the word on how we enjoy these places. Plus they didn't tell us we'd have to meet thier standards such as full time employment or same addresses or we would have to pay all these surcharges or they have the right to charge our credit card when & if we don't and we have to send that info in before they book us. They also said no blackout dates .. there arent blackout dates but if you travel in peak season which includes but is not limited to ALL summer they will charge you more in taxes & surcharges. We were mislead into believing that we purchased a discounted vacation deal. My husband has had 16 military related surgeries fighting for this country and for this company to sell him a misrepresented vacation that he paid for with money he receives for his injuries from the blood he shed for this company to steal ... they should be ashamed !!! We want our money back. He wants his money back. He's sacrificed enough for this company to abuse the liberties they're taking for granted. We're still waiting for Donnie to return our call.
