Lloyd McCleary, owner of T and L engine development, consistantly promises quick delivery of quality engines but once he gets your money things change. He lies about delivery and he uses shoddy parts if he does finally deliver. EACH person answering his phone will also lie to you about delivery. MANY people waited for more than two years after being promised a three month delivery time and got nothing.
LOOK UP T AND L ENGINES ON A GOOGLE SEARCH TO SEE ONLY A FEW OF THE PEOPLE HE HAS DEFRAUDED.
DON"T LET THIS LYING HILLBILLY SCREW YOU TOO.

T&L Did a good job for me.

Beleive me I feel for all the people who got ripped off by T&L. I'm just saying that they did a great job for me. After reading all the complaints, I wonder why they didn't rip me off to. I'm not taking up for these guys, but I would like to say that it was such a shame what happened because T&L knew their way around an engine. If I could get everyones money back for them I would. Don't know what happened to those guys. I talked with the Sheriff's department in Stanley County who has local jurisdiction in this matter. It seems like there is no way anyone is going to get their money or other items back. T and L was shut down in 2010 and I assume the auction of Llyod's personal and business property has already taken place. I understand that possible federal charges are in the future for he and others associated with him. The whole thing is so unfortunate for us all especially those that lost so much to Lloyd and T&L.

Congratulations. You are less that .05% of T&L's client base in the last 4 years.
Don't get me wrong, i'm glad you got your engine and that you are happy with it.
160 formal complaints and $800,000 plus of damages owed (stolen) by T&L tell the true tale. But hey, don't listen to me, contact the NC DOJ or the local law and ask them.
You might hate to see 'all the bad stuff' about T&L, but I would bet that you'd hate to see your 5 year savings towards your hot-rod project stolen a H**L of a lot more.

Wait, the answer is obvious, BECAUSE IT'S TRUE!!!
This company, it's representitives (Lloyd, Rob, Holly) have had my money for 2 years now. They don't deliver anything except excuses and lies. For more evidence, go to:
