 I wanted to purchase the Angel Light, so I found the site on the internet.  I went to it and started the order and then I had to give the payment info.  After the billing and shipping info, they take you through multiple screens to and add and change the order.  I went through the screens and then order complete screen shows up and they added $10.00 extra TWICE.  I could not review my order before payment was taken.

When I got the invoice/order, I called them.  They told me that it would take 24-48 hours to process and then any changes or cancelling can be done then.  I called to company the same day the order went in and they said to call back in 24-48 hours due to processing in their system.  They could do nothing untilthat time.  I called each day for three days, but they said I had to wait for processing and call back the next day.  When they finally said the processing was done, they tell me the order was filled the night before and they can do nothing about it, because the order was filled and the shipping company has it.  I tried to check on their order status screens and the shipping company, but their is no info available.  Now I have to wait for the shipment to come and then send it backand wait 3-5 business days for a refund after they receive product back.

Customer service was a joke, was deceiving, misleading and flat out lied to me.  Their ordering system does not allow to review the order prior to purchase and even though the shipping company is supposed to have the items and are shipping already in route, you can't track it with either companies.  They also were twice the cost of another site that carried it.

Had the Identical Problem

The same thing happened to me with a Grassology order. TeleBrands shipped it out and charged my card AFTER I had called to cancel and AFTER they had even given me a cancellation number. On April 2, 2014, I refused delivery as they suggested, taking it back in person to the post office.

It is now April 29, and the charge is still on my credit card, and regardless of the fact that I returned the shipment, they are telling me that there is no way they can remove that charge. If you have any success getting your money back from them, please update this thread. I'd love to hear how you did it. 

It is hard to believe that TeleBrands keeps getting away with this fraudulent, illegal behavior. Although they claim to be based in Fairfield, New Jersey, something tells me that their real base is India and that perhaps that location puts them outside the reach of United States law. I see no other way that any company could behave in this way and get away with it time after time after time.
