The Brands Group HGC Does not honor 100% satisfied refund policy. Product description is very deceptive and bait and switch Sherman Oaks, California

Wow! This appears to be a very fraudulent small time business run by a single guy named Austin Rondo, CEO. The website (tripleyourcash.com) and the booklet they mail out make this seem like an opportunity of a lifetime.

But when consumers purchase these gift card certificates, buy one get two free, what they receive are not actual gift cards but what they call "shopping discount cards" and are only redeemable on their exclusive junk filled website.

The front of the certificate you purchase states Buy One $100 gift card and get two $100 gift cards free.  These gift cards can be used for Nike, Kenneth Cole, Guess, DKNY, Prada, Addidas, Calvin Klein, Ed Hardy Tag Huer and Invictka. Nope, not good at Nikes website or any of the other companies listed on the certificate.

You can use these shopping discount cards not gift certificates only at their own website filled with literally cheap junk. Add to that, if you want to purchase any of this junk at their listed "retail price" you can use your shopping discount card to get 10 to 20 percent off and pay the balance on your credit card.  So a $100 junk item will cost you $80 additional charged to your credit card of choice. 

I sold a couple of these to close friends and when they got these cards, they could not believe what they were good for.  They immediately wanted their money back.  They thought as I did, they would be able to shop at these company websites and purchase their products. 

I signed up in April on their triplegiftcards.com website with their written guarantee that if your arent satisfied, they would refund $100 of your money.  I immediately gave my customers their money back and returned all materials and the certificates, which by the way you have to pay $100 up front for 100 of these things to sell. That was April and its now July 23, 2010 and Im still trying to get my money back.

They will NEVER, EVER, return your calls.  Theres this guy named Austin Rondo, CEO, that hides behind the scenes and you always hear his voice on voice mail promising to return call within 24 hours.  They wont and youll never talk with him.  He has this woman named Charlene who will once in a blue moon answer your call.  She has promised to get back to me with an answer the very next day 5 times in the last 4 months and has yet to return one call.

I think Austin Rondo is heading the scam and has instructed Charlene not to return calls. Get this, their office hours are Mon Tues, 10:00 AM 2:00 PM (4 hours) and only every other week during the summer when they run their largest scam promotions.  When I joined in April they had a B+ rating with the BBB.  By June their rating had dropped to an F rating, because of not answering complaints. 

All I wanted was my money back.  It never feels good being ripped off.  Im 60 and on a fixed income.  I hope this posting will at least stop other good consumers from getting ripped off by this Austin Rondos The Brands Group.
