Do not hire these guys.  Do not work for them!!

Jay called me after getting my request from Billy.com.  I had been quoted $140 from another company, which had said that was all-in for 2 hours - trip fee and taxes include.  Jay said his price was $75/hr, 2-hour minimum and no trip fee, so $150 - and he was available at the preferred time I wanted.  I specifically asked if there were any other fees and he said "no", so I booked them for 1st thing Sat 12/19.

Once we got all my stuff loaded from the storage unit and at my house, his guys came back with a total over $324!  He charged $45 trip fee, another $30 for "3rd floor" - though that was at my storage unit with elevator.  That charge was never mentioned and is for stairs anyway!  Don't even know where he got more than $60 in other charges - that would have been almost 24% tax (63/262.50) - even if I calculated 2.5 hrs (it was 2 hrs and 5 mins).

This guy - Jay -  extorts money by holding people's property - and he puts his guys in jeopardy by putting them in the middle.  He wouldn't even call me on the phone - he would only text me.

I ended up having to give them every last bit of cash I had - which left $0 for these guys to get a tip - at Christmas, no less.  What a jerk!  I even told him that's all I had the guys would get no tip.  He took $300 for a job that was quoted all-in as $150. 

I will be calling the local news about this guy.  I'm concerned about the poor people who wouldn't have had any money and/or would  have had to give him their food money or something.  He's a crook.
