Mr. Thomas Ford of San Diego, formerly of Elated Worldwide Group has attempted to entice investors in a scam operation in a $400,000,000 casino/hotel/amusement park in Mexico.  While he stated that he raised over $250,000 from an investor that is a blatantly false statement.  His offering was filed in California to raise only $500,000 however his various prospectus lists anywhere from $1,000,000 to $400,000,000.  He is in violation of both federal and state securities law in his attempt to secure investors publically over the Internet.

When searching for Elated Worldwide you will also find a few links which has nothing to say positive about Mr. Ford.  Take a quick look at the comments left on the following websites: (((ROR redacted)))

He has left a trail of unpaid bills to employees and vendors and now is in hiding.  His address has changed numerous times in the past year and on the corkin.com site he is now listing his address in Atlanta.  So far he has listed two locations in California and one in New York.  Quite of bit for a one-man show.   His most recent sighting was on (((ROR redacted))) where he is soliciting a business advisor or board member for a minimum investment of $5,000.00.  He also states that he has partnered with Intercontinental Commerce Corporation which, again, is false.

This guy is bad news.  Period.  If anyone knows of his location notify the California Division of Securities at http://www.corp.ca.gov/about/pdf/doc29.pdf and the SEC at http://www.sec.gov/index.htm.

If you have invested in his scheme or you know anyone that has, please contact your local law enforcement agency and provide his contact information so he can be picked up before any more harm is done.

Poor Tommy where's the theme park?

AUTHOR: Victor - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, November 30, 2010

I would have to agree with the guy who filled the original report Thomas Ford is nothing more than a scam artist he makes all sorts of promises and never follows through. He comes off as a good guy in the beginning but as time moves along who can tell what he's really about, and who this "character" really is. I know him personally none of the things the original report stated are false that report is telling the truth Thomas Ford is a liar. This Thomas Ford "character" needs to stick to what he knows best NOTHING! When you do dirt, you get dirt Mr. Ford! To add injury to insult with this guy, he tried to write his own rebuttal using a different name and still lacked the ability to make himself look good. Why would you do that Tommy? Tommy you need to look yourself in the mirror and realize that your a "character" go audition for USA network where "CHARACTERS" are welcome! Stop playing on people emotions and be a man about it all if u can be a man that i!?!

Wow what a bunch of hogwash

The person who filed this report is a real charter. I am one who saw this report and immediately went on the defensive. I was ready to stop working with Mr. Ford due to this posting. If it wasn't for my wife who asked me to due my own research I would have missed out on a great opportunity to work with such a good and honest person. It is a real shame how many untrue statements were made to make such a good person look bad. Mr. Ford has never attempted to solicit investors over the Internet, there is nothing on the Internet that even remotely demonstrates that. I can personally say that I have seen the MOU from Intercontinental Commerce Corporation that was stated to be false in this report. I even checked and call the SEC about Mr Ford and found nothing. It is funny How this person states that there were unpaid vendors and employees yet they are the only one posting. As real proof is concern, the author of this report is a dishonest one. I would like to ask the ripoff report to please make sure you post this. It is very important to me that people understand that Mr Ford is not at all the way this posting make him seem.

There isnt anything negative on the website about the company or project. Maybe they didnt pay their dues for the website and it was disabled.Stop being so quick to judge. I could be wrong but lets try to be positive especially for all of us that have invested so much time with Tom Ford. Personally speaking, I think a theme park would be great for our area.

Ron said:

I cant speak in regards to the legitimacy of the investment fund for Elated WorldWide, but I can confirm that the plans for the park are legit. The Architectural Firm backing the project is world class and have worked with several big players in the theming and entertainment industry.

Im a professional in the Water Park/Theme Park Industry and wouldnt be waisting my time following this project if I didnt know there was a real chance the project would get off the ground. Im involved in numerous large theme park projects around the world that are currently on hold due to the current global financial crisis. Even industry giants like Six Flags werent able to weather the storm and were forced into Chapter 11. Lack of financing is sole reason why this project is slow to get off the ground, but Im confident it will all come together. Maybe not in time to open next year, but soon enough.

Todays Themed Water Parks are huge money makers and attendance has never been better. Financial institutions are slowly starting to loosen their purse strings, which will allow some of these monstrous projects to get off the ground. The days of a bare bone concrete water park with nothing but fibreglass slides grouped together are a thing of the past. Fully themed and interactive designs are what is expected now and they dont come cheap.

Thanks Ron.

Following our chat offline Ive confirmed youre referring to DKY Architects in Irvine, California, who have been involved from the beginning and have been very helpful wed spoken with them a few times previously about the project.

Weve just spoken to them again today, and they have told me that the idea is still alive and Elated are still involved, but they prefer not to say any more than that.

Ive sent another email to Elated in the hope they may finally respond to confirm this themselves too.

Maybe Ron knows something we dont and perhaps if the details for the investment opportunity become clearer well be able to change our advice, but at the moment the rest of us are still in the dark..!

Here is what other People Say About Thomas Ford:

AUTHOR: Rod Hanner - (United States of America)

POSTED: Friday, January 22, 2010

alfonso said: That is the dumb move . first no Mayas in Baja California, second there are more tourist that visit Quintana Roo than Los Cabos. Many more cruiseships and stays are longer in Yucatan peninsula then in Baja.. they should think twice

Bob Rodriguez said: This is a scam. There is no Elated Worldwide. They are just trying to get investors to invest in air and run. Just check out their web site on: http://www.elatedeg.com/ and you will see that it is not there anymore. If you look at the cached version on Google you will see a bunch of copy with names of development companies that dont exist. Also, see if they have any track record of ANY theme park and you will see that it is all smoke and mirrors. Watch out for this one Cabo!

REMAX Investment Properties  For the last two days weve been trying to contact Elated Worldwide without success, they dont return calls, their websites have gone offline, some of the people involved do not appear to exist and we also have information that they have vacated their offices in the USA. There may of course be a innocent, rational reason for this, but when they are completely unavailable we simply do not know. Given the lack of verifiable information for this project we must advise extreme caution to anyone considering investing or becoming involved wih Elated Worldwide.

To be very clear: RE/MAX Investment Properties is not involved with Elated Worldwide nor do we endorse this project in any way, shape or form. Elated Worldwide: if you read this we welcome you to reply.

REMAX Investment Properties  Weve been waiting 10 days for a response from Elated now and havent heard a thing. Weve left messages on their voicemail and had no reply. Weve emailed their Elated email addresses and had no reply. Weve emailed the address their domain is registered under and it bounced back. We called the person named as their Investor Relations Manager on a previous press release and he said he no longer works for them and cant help. And their websites are still down. Im sorry to say it, but they do appear to have vanished into thin air. Our investment advice is not to get involved

John Smith said: Cracks me up that people still fall for this stuff. Sigh.

Martin Benchley said:  This is just a big scam; Ford is just a low-life liar and a cheat. He never had any investors, he lied to the real estate people in Mexico and California as well. He is exactly the type of person who should be behind bars and be the center of entertainment in the shower. He is scum, run, dont walk away. Call the cops a very bad person.

Thomas Ford and Elated Worldwide Group Scam - Reality Check

AUTHOR: Rod Hanner - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, January 21, 2010

From their website: A team of experts has been assembled Too bad that they didnt proofread the above complaint a dozen+ spelling and grammatical errors sure, Id invest in this crack management team. Take a look at their impressive website they sure cant spell there either: i.e. Boarder, sourunding, choreographed, among others. A 2nd grader can use spell-check.

Now their location is proposed to be in California rather than Mexico, Why the change Tommy? Did you change your prospectus and state and federal security filings? Thats right; you really didnt even take the trouble to file correctly. Google unregistered securities and see the kind of trouble Tommy is getting into.

Dont take my word for it, when you search for Elated Worldwide you have these comments and connections:

Jennifer Pobiak 21 April 2009 at 10:45 am # Trust me. This will NEVER happen. Go to their website and a few REAL obvious clues stick out like a sore thumb.

CLUE #1 This multi-million dollar firm can only afford a basic web template? There are so many errors in grammar, text and font sizes that I cant imagine who they must have hired to put up this jewel. I am impressed!

CLUE #2 Now check out the Bios on their team of experts. WOW. Impressive bios that a 12 year old could write.

CLUE #3 Would you like to own a piece of this Mayan Amusement Park Dream?? Well you can! Just visit their Investor Relations page and see their business plan. For $30,000 $250,000 investment, you can get stock and dont worry; youll get your money back, via their grand plan of advanced ticket sales.

Their former Investor Relations Executive, Dale Pinkert left the project after only a month. Does that tell you something? For that matter where is Alexander Evans, Executive Consultant of Strategic Development, DKY Architects, Jackie Jenkins, Henry Watts, etc. have they all abandoned the sinking ship?

In Elated press release of February 3, 2009 they stated: Elated Worldwide Group Corporation announces the opening of non-brokered private placement offerings of up to 30,000,000 units at a price of $1.00 each for gross proceeds of up to $30,000,000. Why in their filing with the state of California they only list a raise of $500,000? Perhaps to circumvent the increased state filing fees? Does Arnold know about this?

This complaint was obviously filed by an uneducated, unethical, misdirected individual with a complete delusion of grandeur. He needs help.
