DO NOT RENT FROM THRIFTY IN ORLANDO,FLORIDA !!
I cant reiterate this enough. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. See the bad reviews. As a a frequent business traveler I rent cars on a weekly basis. As a Thrifty Blue Chip member I book directly with thrifty.com.
Whatever you do, do not rent from Thrifty Car Rental with a prepaid rental at any of their locations in Florida. When you get a discount offer on thrifty.com for prepaid rental the website redirects you to a third party website cartrawler.com only after you have given your credit card info on the thrifty web site. The confirmation email came from cartrawler.com stated in order to meet the terms of rental I would need to provide two forms of photo ID.  Also stated this is non-refundable prepaid deposit. This was not disclosed on thrifty.com when I entered my booking info. As a Thrifty Blue Chip member and US citizen this was not acceptable to me. Immediately after receiving my confirmation my credit card company sent a fraud alert email stating I made a international purchase from Dublin, Ireland. I called Thrifty customer service and was told I booked with a third party and need to call them. I cancelled the prepaid reservation 7 days prior to rental date and received a email stating 10 days for applicable refund. I called my credit card company and disputed the international charge. Cartrawler fought it stating a prepaid reservation is non refundable. RIPOFF.
