Customer Service
Mr. Bowden,
Today, I called Circuit City support (Tigerdirect). While I have been a long time customer of TigerDirect, for the benefit of the coupon listed below, I ordered half of my order through Circuit City. I spent about an hour today, dealing with this $10 mishap. First time I called, I spoke with Veronica Russ (at least that was her e-mail). Within 15 seconds of talking to her, I was transfered to a third party service that I definitely didn't sign up for (as she must have thought that this is what I was referring to). So, I called back. I talked to Veronica again, and this time she had me e-mail the ad to her. She quickly determined that this was a different third party, and despite my pleas that this is not a third party discount and is certainly not a service I paid for, she gave me the number for yet another third party. The third time I called, I was not even allowed to speak to Veronica, and a separate operator gave me Veronicas advice... yet another third party whom I called only to have them tell me I was not a member. The fourth time I called again was not able to speak with Veronica, and instead spoke with Tyrone Nelms. I again had to forward the e-mail to Mr. Nelms, and after some time he quickly determined that this was $10 discount that should be applied to my order and informed me it was taken care of. So, after wasting one hour of my time, I had earned my original $10. -Brian ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: CircuitCity.com <CircuitCity@circuitcity- Date: Tue, Oct 19, 2010 at 3:13 PM Subject: Your $10 DiscountExpires 10/31 To:

Actually They Are

Just to be clear, my Report was issued against TigerDirect, and CircuitCity, both of which are owned by Systemax Inc. Since all customer service is handled through the TigerDirect customer care center, that is who I cite. However, I was not using TigerDirect's website, but rather CircuitCity's. Both companies are alive and well, even though they are exact replica's of each other. In case there is any doubt take a quick read:
