Timber Mountain Investments Mike Lundberg Fraudulent Stole $30,000 From Me Tieton Washington

In October 2014 I hired Mike Lundberg to build a small cabin for me in Cle Elum, WA. He stated that he needed $30,000 to get started and purchase necessary materials. He said the project would only take a few months to complete as he was just doing exterior and framing. Everytime I would talk to him in the first few months he kept saying that he was running into issues with the city and permitting. I of course believed him and just asked him if we could have it done by Christmas 2015 and he said "I will have things done well before then". Before I knew it, 1 year had gone by so I called the city of Cle Elum and they stated that Mike had not pulled any kind of permits nor has he gotten approval to even complete the structure, yet he told me that he had materials purchased and reeady to install. My wife and I used our life saving for the down payment to build this small cabin, it was our christmas present for 2015. We finally got a hold of Mike and he told us that he spent the money and no longer has a way to pay us back. This broke my wifes heart because we spent the whole year thinking this Christmas would be in our Cabin, Christmas has come and gone, and now Mike won't return calls, text, or emails. When I first met him he seemed great and kind, so I trusted him. Shame on me for trusting him! I have contacted several attornies on the matter and they all say that I will spend more money trying to get the $30,000 back, and that I cannot call the police because it is a civil matter. It is very frustrating that criminals get protection for wronging those around them. It took my wife and I 10 years to earn our down payment, and now we are up the stream without a paddle! At least Mike got a nice $30,000 bonus for coming across an honest guy. Don not ever hire this guy, he will not keep his world, and will make a fool of you with the constant excuses.
