Tim Foley rip off is a con artist who gives all tradesman alike a bad name. I am writing on behalf of all of his victims. We live in a small town, and word got around quickly about his shoddy work, incompetence, failure to complete tasks, and massive overcharges. He has now no doubt branched out to other locations on Long Island, no doubt leaving a trail of waste, fraud, and abuse. To explain a little bit about MR. Foley, though he has construction experience himself, he is not a real contractor. He is not licensed of insured. He has a full time job elsewhere. He hires all kinds of different people to go out and complete the contracts for him, never showing up himself once he has collected your money.
I hired Tim foley for a small siding job on my home. He had nothing but positive things to say about his professional experience doing siding. A week later he sent a strange man to the house to do the work for him. I asked who this man wash, he said he worked for TIM. I asked where Tim was and he said "at work". Mr Foley actually works somewhere else full time. Every day a different worker would show up. These men must not have been experienced, because it took them a week to complete. Tim contacted me for more money, asking for an additional payment that was never discussed, never showing up himself to do/see the work himself. Of course i refused. I had, had enough of tim. And coincidentally within a month the siding began to bow and pop off the house. When I contacted him he said there was nothing he could do. When I contacted the retailer certain teed they said there was a lifetime warranty if the siding was installed correctly. Not only was the siding crooked, it was not properly nailed voiding the warranty. I was frauded by a fast talking liar.
Telling people around town, about Tim's incompetence and fraud, elicited a similar reaction from a lot of people. How they had, or had a friend that used him and were unhappy with his work. Taking advantage of whoever was foolish enough to hire him.
One woman said her husband worked for him and he was very bad to his workers, abusing them and shorting them on pay regularly. Squeezing extra profit to afford living beyond his means. The thing I found out about tim, was that he is a member in alcoholics anonymous, and often hires degenerate drunks from this program to do his bidding.  Do not be fooled by this man, he has all sorts of great things to say, telling you everything you want to hear. But it is not true.
