I went to Tri county rentals,to have a Polaris jet ski repaired.
the jet ski would run great in the driveway hooked up to a hose and when in the water would run real sluggish.
After taking it to tri county rentals a certified Polaris dealer,The jet ski would not even run in the water at all,the thing was a week late getting back to me from the promised complete date as well.
After calling them several times to see what they were going to do about the repairs they said the mechanic would call me that never happened.
I called this company 5 or six times and they had no intention of making this right with me after charging me $400.00 dollars.the jet ski was not even usable after they were done with it.

There final excuse was the mechanic must of had a death in the family that's why they never got back to me.They were not sure there was a death but told me that was what must of happened HOW LAME IS THAT.?Local people told me that was the worst place I could have ever taken the jet ski in the first place.I figured they were a dealer and should have knowledge of the very product they sell,or have competent people working on them.

I am 47 years old and have had bad service in the past but the people would always try to make it right these people at TRI COUNTY RENTALS will take your money not provide a service and spit in your face while laughing all the way to the bank...BEWARE DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE,,YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF..In my opinion
DAVE

Dave Valerio

Dave Valerio Heating and Air conditioning, of Gainesville, Florida.

I believe in Daves 1st Amendment rights and to be more specific his right to speak the TRUTH.

Mr. Dave Valerio, of Dave Valerio Heating and Air Conditioning, of Gainesville, Florida, has filed a report about the service he received at our dealership.
I will address the statements that he has made, albeit that he made the statements  4 months after the alleged incident occurred, and 4 months after he stopped payment on the check he wrote for the repair.

Dave wrote:

the thing was a week late getting back to me from the promised complete date as well.

The work order is dated Friday, 9-9-11, the day he brought it to us, signature attached.  We told him we would do what we could to have it ready for him by the following weekend.   The repair was completed on Friday, 9-16-11 and his office was notified, the person we advised is listed on the work order.  Mr. Valerio came to our dealership the following day and picked up the personal watercraft.   Total time it was at our dealership was 7 days from drop off to time we advised his office that it was completed.

Well our phone system has no record of him calling me about the fact that it was not working properly in fact our policy is if you have an issue with the repair, to bring it back so we may evaluate it, cant fix it over the phone, can we?  If he would have called and stated he was having an issue with it, the first and only thing we would have said is to bring it to us, cant fix it over the phone.
We do have a phone record of me calling Mr. Valerio on 9-21-11, speaking with his wife and she said she would have him call us, (he didnt).  Our next attempt to contact him was on 9-23-11 and his office secretary said she would have him contact us, (he didnt).  On the 25th and 26th I left messages on their phone, and (you guessed it), he didnt contact us.

Dave wrote:

they said, "the mechanic said he would call me", that never happened.

Yes, we did call and left a message with the woman that answered and the date and who we talked with is noted on the work order.

We did get notice from our bank, that Mr. Valerio stopped payment on Monday the 19th on the check he wrote on Saturday the 17th.  That was sure quick, and without bringing it back to see what may have caused the issue.  Now why is Mr. Dave Valerio reporting this on Ripoff Report after 4 months have passed and he is not out any money as he stopped payment???  Well, one may surmise that because Tri County Rentals and Sales, Inc. took him to court on this stop payment and Mr. Valerio decided it wasnt worth his time to show up, so the Judge found in our favor and issued a Final Judgment to Mr. Dave Valerio.  Maybe that is why his panties are in a bunch.

My personal opinion,"which is just that, mine", is he had buyers remorse. The personal watercraft that he brought in to have the carbs cleaned was 12 years old, having sat for several years and not used, and may have had additional issues from sitting idle for so long.  So, he thought Ill just get out of the situation I am in by returning the watercraft to the sellers and stop payment on the repair check.  Now, I am not out anything.  Presently, he is correct however the Final Judgment WILL at some time come into play.

We at Tri County Rentals and Sales, Inc., feel that we did what was asked of us, to rebuild the carbs, which is not a difficult job to do.  There may have been some additional issues with the watercraft that we were not instructed to check out, that we will never know, as Mr. Dave Valerio chose not to bring it back to us to evaluate.

Now, thats the TRUTH, and you have heard the rest of the story.
