The storage company. Would not allow me to retrieve my belongings. After the owner found out i was disabled and did not have the finances to leave my things there he would not return my calls as promised . He continued to raise the price each time i tried to make arrangements to get my things. i was lied too several times told that my things were auctioned. When i proved he had no legal right to do so he related that statement. I finally got him to verbally agree on a price.. i got an attorney (i had to pay 300.00 i did not have) to draw up an agreement .. Mr. Muir was obviously angry that i had done so and changed the agreement to one he knew i could not afford. i spoke with him prior to retaining the attorney and told him that i was going to do so for his protection and mine. He said no no no you don't need to do that we can just do this ourselves. After having dealt with him already i felt that paying the 300.00 was definitely necessary .. But when sent the agreement as i said he declined to follow through. I contacted the Fatty. Generals office. Who then contacted Mr. Muir with a proposition of mediation. Mr Muir declined..Since then I have written at least 15 to twenty letters or emails to Mr Muir pleading with him to at least allow me to retrieve my children's belongings. And my personal papers .. He would neither return my calls or meals. I even offered to allow him to keep the furniture if i could have my children's things and my family photos and papers. When i called he pretended not to hear me. My children and I had been through hell with the landlord is well known in the neighborhood for taking advantage of women in disadvantaged situations. He was making harassing comments and intimidating sexual advances to my then ten year old daughter. Among other issues like defrauding the state and government section 8 housing dept. All of his previous tenants (15years ) at least and all women have left under stressful circumstances. Like me they were constantly threatened of losing their housing assistance by him. He had no grounds for evicting me so he lied and said he was selling the house .. not before breaking many breaking and entering laws by letting people into my home w/o my knowledge. And coming into my home unannounced himself.. he was angry because the police had warned him that he was no longer allowed into my apt for any reason..The long and short of it is he evicted me. Posted my apt on craigs list the next day. never sold the property and never paid the amount to me the court told him too. He has a few properties and a 400.00dollar an hour Attorney . I had not the money or the strength at that time to fight him so I lost everything. And i know. he and MR MUIR Were previous acquaintances.. As i said I've lost everything.. Because of our loss I lost custody of my children to their father....My fault i know... I needed help .. But truly no one wants to work for free.. I just want my children's things and my family photos i have no baby pictures..Someone should investigate Herman Lindsey ...232 BLUE HILLS PARKWAY , MILTON, MA 02186.
