Underground Autowerks DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH UNDERGROUND AUTOWERKS.... RIP OFF National City California

This place is a RIP OFF.  The quality of work is the worst I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing.   The fancy website and the lying mechanics deceive you but do not be fooled.  Underground Autowerks WILL BREAK YOUR CAR and will still make you pay top dollar as if you brought your car to the dealership, which is now where i go to make sure this stuff never happens again.  They charge more per hour than Mercedes Benz of San Diego and DO NOT HAVE MASTER MECHANICS ON SITE.  The owner, Tim Castellanos, pretends that he is this great mechanic and wil be working on your car but he doesn't even work at this location, the mechanics here do not know their way around an engine and barely even speak english so talking to them gets you nowhere.  This place charged me almost $1,000 for a simple job that Mercedes only charged $400 to do.  They did it wrong and it cost me another $1,300 to fix the problem.  Now i am out thousands of dollars because Underground Autowerks IS INCOMPETENT to do their job.  DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT.

I towed my car in to the shop because it would not start.  Underground autowerks diagnosed the car and found a bad starter and a couple bad wires.  They said that they could fix the car for Approx. $800.  I thought that was a bit overpriced but i needed the car fixed so i said ok.  When it is done they call me to pick it up, so i do.  The mechanic and owner, Tim, is not there when i pick the car up.  I am assured the car is fixed and the lady at the front desk tells me to pay while they pull the car around.  I pay because i assume this place does good business.  The car is pulled around and i hop in and go.  I get four (4) miles up the road and my car dies and will not start.  My car initially had problems starting but it has NEVER just died while driving.  I call the shop, Underground Autowerks, because i just picked up the car and was hoping they could do what i payed them for and fix my car.  I was told "It sounds like a new problem so we will not tow the car back here, you can tow it and we will diagnose the problem".  At this point, i just spent $800 and was now stranded on the side of the road and Underground Autowerks did not even care.  I felt like they did something to try to get more money out of me so i towed the car to the Mercedes Dealership.  They informed me that the mechanics that fixed my starter and wiring used a Soldering iron to mount the wires to my cars wiring module, causing overheating of the computer and making it impossible to drive the car.  It cost me another $985 to fix.  This place did bad work and made me pay and would not assist in fixing their mistakes which in turn cost me almost two thousand dollars.
