I met there sales "gals" at a trade show on the east coast last summer.  The company seemed pretty legitimate and the sales people seemed to know what they were talking about.  I decided to put an order in for several hundred leads and they came over within a matter of about a day.  The lead quality was abysmal...less than 15% contact ratio over 7 days.  Their return policy was not as "friendly" as they had pitched.  They claim that their leads are exclusive and that they are 100% search generated....lies!  The very few people that we were able to get a hold of said that they were lured into filling out an app with link to win an ipod, etc.. They also had received about 7 other sales calls in the same few days that we were contacting them...basically they are part of a large affiliate network and the leads are sold, resold and sold again about 5 times.   If you have an internet marketing company and you are looking for leads, STAY AWAY FROM UNDERGROUND ELEPHANT.  Don't let the skimpy outfits that their sales girls wear fool you!  COMPLETE RIP-OFF.

AUTHOR: tommyb - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, May 25, 2016

These leads are still garbage! I just purchased leads from Underground Elephant in May 2016 and they are the WORST LEADS I ever expierenced. We should put together a class action to stop this ripoff!

Hello,

My name is Ian and I’m the Director of Sales and Client Services at Underground Elephant. Thank you for expressing your concerns, we appreciate your feedback.

Since your comment in 2011, Underground Elephant has made substantial improvements to ensure quality leads for our clients. We generate 100% of our leads using in-house marketing efforts and proprietary technology, and do not buy leads from affiliates. We do not sell the same lead to more than three agents and will not share the same lead with two or more agents from the same carrier.

We want to ensure your success with our leads, so feel free to contact us to move forward from here.

Best,

Ian Hutchinson
