American Truck Showrooms (ATS) scammed me for five hundred dollars. Their ad stated a bunch of promising statement that was not delivered.

One statement they claim was that they could finance anybody, regardless of their credit. On 02/27/14, I called American Truck Showrooms because I was interested in a truck they had posted on Truckpaper.com. 

I told them that I was interested in buying a 2010 Peterbilt and wanted more information on it. They explained to me that the truck was like-new, with 600,000miles, new turbo, new rebuilt engine, new alternator, etc, and only $6,500 down payment. Everything sounded good when she explained to me on the phone, but here is the catch:

In order, for them to proceed any further, ATS wanted five hundred dollars from me to check my history.

At the time, I agreed to the history check because I felt the truck was worth it for the price. After ATS recieved my money, they failed to work with me.

I tried calling them back but ended up with a voice-mail system that was too full to even leave a message on. I got frustrated with ATS lack of professionalism and communication on the phone that I drove from California to one of their new location in Georgia to settle this matter personally.

Nothing was accomplish. The owner at ATS refuse to give back my refund. The truck that I wanted was nothing like the pictures posted in their ad (False advertisement). The truck was not "like-new" at all. The milages were about 55,000miles higher than described. Also, the truck smelt so horrible that even the salesman wouldn't dare to go inside.

Please help me to get my refund back. Help me expose the scam that this company is doing to innocent victims like me and you. Please stop this from happening to others.
