Called them to find out who they were and was told that I must have signed up online for their services. Hell I dont even know who they are. Found out that they signed me up without telling me by taking my information from another sight (Doubleday book club) when I joined the book club. The lady on the phone couldnt or wouldnt tell me just what their service was.

They waited a month before they took the 49.95. They are suppose to be an online shopping club and it took a while to find their site.

I always thought that when you take someones money it was called stealing. These people need to go to jail. USA Benefits is a scam and Commonwealth Marketing Group, Inc. are crooks.

USA Benefits kept calling whole day

AUTHOR: Pankaj - (United States of America)

POSTED: Saturday, April 16, 2011

This USA benefits kept calling me whole day, pushing me to accept their card worth 100$ as gift. They asked for my 10 digit debit card number and expiry date, just to confirm my authentically (unfortunately, i gave them my 10 digit number with expiry date but without password code). I said them i do not need the gift , but they keep pushing me and called me 6-7 times from morning to evening. I do not know now..whether they will steal money from my account....!!

But I think I learned here in USA,  not body give anything free. As I am new to USA, this silly episode has made me surprised and i do not know how to claim against this "USA benefits" company for harassing me the whole day.

Is there any solution to catch this company?

Hey there, I'm sorry to hear about your experience with Credit USA. I hope you're able to resolve everything with USA Shopping Club/Credit USA and get on with life.

For those who are still dealing with Credit USA, my friend used the report on this page to get their money back and do some damage to the company's reputation:

(((Redacted)))

Hope this helps you and anyone trying to get their money back.

#1 Consumer Comment

Empathy for you...

I also submitted a comment here regarding both USA Benefits and USA Credit.  Thank you for stating the company who "sold" the information if that is what they did.  I was unsure it is was from a payday loan application or not.  But I did participate in a survey and one of the companies I signed up with was Doubleday Book Club.  I am not sure if they were the one in my case.  But it just further displays the dishonesty out there.  I do enjoy surfing the web and participating in surveys and playing online games for silly prizes and point and such.  But I don't like being toyed with by them and taken "for a ride" because I wanted to explore and have some fun.  I did switch to using a reloadable Debit card for any online financial transactions, to keep from further messing up my bank account.  But honestly, it really is sad that I can't just trust that when I make a purchase, the buck stops there.  NO, the info gets sold, traded, auctioned off, who knows.  It isn't right, and we are all going to pay.  One day, if this kind of activity continues, purchasing rights could be taken away and you will have to buy things on the "black market" if you want to do it online.  Who know, it just seem to be from past experience, that often times, a few people have a tendency to ruin for the "rest of us".

Anyway, I feel for your situation, it really is too bad that you can't just roam around on the internet and conduct business, knowing you will be safe.  The internet is NOT a safe place anymore, if it ever was...

Heather
