I am victim of this comnpany's aggressive deceptive and fraudulant marketing. I was looking for an academic rerence page and clicked on a link to usenet.nl which said I could have the reference if I paid one euro on Pay Pal - it looked safe quick and easy so I paid.

I received an email Pay Pal invoice receipt which confirmed my payment of the total of one euro. They then sent me and email with a licence key for a download. I tried this but my virus checker (Avira) warned me it was Malware so I didn't go ahead. I soon found my book reference elsewhere and forgot about it -. That was on the 9th May 2010.

On the 24th May I received a message from Pay Pal that they had just sent Usenet.nl another 90 Euros!  I couldn't get anywhere opn the usenet.nl site - there is no email address - it all looks benign but the customer care is meaningless - just some irrelevant questions and answers. And a San Marino phone number. I could see instantly things were wrong and phoned PayPal ( another International call - this time to Dublin) They told me how to lodge a complaint. I did this and heard back from them three tiomes wanting more and more information. It seemed my case was watertight - I hadn't even tried their programme - as it was messaged as Malware. And nowhere had it been mentioned that a full cost of a years subscription would be charged to me 14 days later. Nowhere.

Today I received an email from Pay Pal:

Transaction Date:  24 May 2010
Transaction Amount:  -99.96 EUR
Seller's Email:  paypal@usenet.nl
Seller's Name:  usenet.nl

That is so unsatisfactory. I have been left unable to further this unfair illegal internet mugging.
