Vergo Marketing/Debbie Fiorentino the EDU scammers from Scottsdale, Arizona

Well unfortunately this story has been told more than once and I believe Debbie Fiorentino is still out there under another name. In 2010 We started doing business with Vergo Interactive who was said to be a decent online EDU vendor. 

The relationship started out fine with no complaints of quality or anything of that nature, just traditional online EDU lead generation. Each month they would increase our caps on the schools we were running for them and for all intents and purposes began to turn into a nice little revenue stream...That is until accounting notified me that our first invoice to them was over 50 days late.

I immediately shot an email to our account manager about the aged invoice and she redirected me to their "accounting" person who according to her was the only person who could speak about past due invoices--understandable. I sent out the email and heard nothing. I began calling and finally worked my way through the mud to get Debbie's info. By the time I was able to get her on a call Vergo owed us over $50,000. When I spoke to her she dodged everything, became impossible to talk to and hung up. She nor anyone else at Vergo ever picked up or returned any of our phone calls thereafter. They disabled our login to their reporting system which had a log of all our "verified" monthly numbers (luckily we took screen shots of these each month anyway) and went silent.

We lawyered up and Debbie finally offered us $10,000 to close the issue. We rejected the offer and are still in legal with them to this day.
