Veronica drew up the artwork and says she gave the nonprofit multiple options for how it could be completed with a varying degree of prices depending on what they wanted.
Promoted LinksThe non-profit opted to go for top of the line, but didn’t have the roughly $8,000 it would cost.
The fundraising efforts fell short by about $2,500. Veronica says she approached the non-profit about some less expensive options, but instead, she says she was told she was fired after finding out she stole the money.

This Ripoff Report above is inaccurate. The nonprofit ripped off the artist.
The video posted was regarding a non profit that used Veronicas / Veros artwork to raise money then never paid her for the actual installation. They kept the profit that her artwork raised. They told her they no longer needed her work and hired a local after they raised money on their go fund me using her artwork to promote with.
The non profit never paid her for the money they raised even though they had options of a high larger art piece and low number smaller art piece to choose from after they raised the money using her drawing to promote in newspapers and pitch with.
After the money was raised they "said she was fired", the non profit kept the raised money.
The eople who invested into the non profits go fund me were upset the final piece was different than what they supported (veronicas work used to raise the money in the promo.
The non profit was not honest with their donors by switching the artist after they raised the money.
The new art team was paid less than what was raised and the non profit kept the remainder of the money.
The news team came out to interview Veronica as this happened to several artists with that same nonprofit company to raise awareness of them taking advantage of artists Veronica by using them to raise money and not paying them.
