Italy has quarentined the whole country. Air Canada (our flight) has cancelled all flights to Italy. Viking is still requesting their cruises/clients to cruise to Italy regarding of threats of death due to the virus. We are seniors, and our health isnt the best. We requested a full refund, but was told the cruise will still be continued on our date of April 5th, 2020. The cruise is a threat of getting the cirus, but Viking does not want to refund the money that we spend of over $10,000.

Why would Viking still want their customers/cruises to continue with this cruise when we could get the virus and die?? My have respirtory problems and would not go and going would be against my doctors advise.

How can Viking keep your money when the country is quaranteed? That means the country has the virus and by the news on the media it says its worse than the virus in China. We are talking with an attorney regarding this and how we can sue the company of the return of our money.

My parents have used Viking for many cruises including one that had a port stop in Germany where there was a Mosque bombing. They went on all those cruises and Viking made sure that all passengers were safe. I am sure Viking would not put anyone in danger and would cancel cruises if they think that anyone was so - there is not threat to anyone at this time so what is the reason you think you need to cancel (because you are not in good health?) Then what is the reason you are taking a cruise if you are not in good health??

 Come on, cut with the BS hyper -exaggeration. This virus is NOT the blubonic plague just like you have apparently swallowed hook, line and sinker from the sorry news media. You stated...who stated? YOU STATED you were both elderly and not in the best of health.

YOU had the option to buy trip insurance which would have been s common sense move since YOU STATED you were elderly and not in the best of health even before this virus obsession. YOU CHOSE to gamble and NOT BUY the insurance. YOU lost the gamble, period!
