I was looking for a pilates machine. A website popped up, www.voguebdz.com. I ordered one, and after I paid, it said I'd receive a confirmation email, which never came. It also said it would be shipped by Tamara. I thought that was odd so I immediately emailed Tamara (twice) at the address provided in the Paypal payment asking her not to ship the item and never heard back.

I then clicked on the email address provided on the Voguebdz site, but it didn't link to anything. I sent an email to that address by copying and pasting it asking them to cancel the order. Nothing.

I called Paypal and told them I thought I had been scammed. Today I received an email from Paypal saying the item had been delivered and sending me a USPS confirmation of delivery. Since nothing showed up at my house, I looked on my Ring security camera to see if anything had come. Nothing.

It seems they have someone at the USPS willing to make up these fake reports of deliveries.

Update to my report

AUTHOR: Terry - (United States)

POSTED: Tuesday, July 27, 2021

It turns out the Post Office confirmed that an item weighing 1.5 lbs was delivered to a local address that was not mine. They were able to tell Paypal that my pilates machine never was delivered. This is how the scammers show "proof of delivery", except that the weight of the package tells a lot.

Turns out the scammer was able to provide Paypal with a confirmation of USPS delivery, but when I called the USPS, they said a delivery was made weighing 1.5 lbs to a different address. A pilates machine hardy weighs 1.5 lbs. This is how they can provide a proof of delivery and try to get off the hook. Beware!
