Walker Pest Control Company sold us pest control service for 70.00 a quarter and at the time of setting up the account they asked for a debit card for backup in case a payment wasnt received with in the payment period. All sounded fine, they sent out a workman and he arrived on time. Upon completion of his service he left us with an invoice which was marked as net 30, I asked him if he needed payment then, he said no to just mail it in or give it to him the next time he came. I said that was fine and asked my wife to cut them a check before the due date, which she was going to do. Not more than a few days later they charged my credit card. I contacted the company and the person that answered the phone claimed that their person didnt say that, then when I informed him that the paper work also says that he continued to argue. When I asked him to cancel our agreement for fraud and refund the $70.00 as we had already mailed a payment, he said he wasnt authorized to do that and it wasnt his fault. I thought I was doing a company a favor by buying from a local service company, but I see these guys are not trust worthy or ture to their word. STAY AWAY!!!

Let me first identify myself as the owner of Walker Pest Management. We take pride in the quality of service we provide and take every complaint very seriously. This is why we routinely check the internet for complaints such as these so we can respond to them accordingly. A company that has been servicing as many clients as we have, for as long as we have, will inevitably have some complaints that arise. How a company responds to these complaints is very important.

With that said,I am aware of the individual who made this report. I will abbreviate to protect his identity, but hisinitials areJ. H. I know this because his complaint was so unusual. As he said, we DID show up on time, we DID do quality work, we DID resolve his pest issues, and, most importantly, weDID tell him payment was due at the time of serviceand DID get his signature on the auto draft agreement. I would be happy to provide this documentation as proof Mr. H.'s claim is inaccurate.

Unfortunately, he is like several others we have experienced in the past. After we have resolved all of their pest issues, they look for a way to not pay for the services agreed upon. Most of our clients are honorable peoplefull ofintegrity, but there are plenty of dishonest individuals as well. It's the world we live in.

If this was a legitimate complaint, he would have returned any one of my numerous calls to him. If this was legitimate, he would have let an impartial party, such as the Better BusinessBereau step in, instead of posting on a "for profit" web site. You will notice we have an A+ rating with zero complaints onthe BBBsite. WeDID discontinue his contract, as we do not wish to do business with difficult clients. We did not, however, refund his money because henever sent payment as he claimed. This was just another attempt to take advantage of a company we have worked so hard to build.

I cannot change people like Mr. H., but I can continue tobuild the best quality service to my clients and deliver everything we promise.
