Warehouse Services Center, INC./ IDCSERVCO IDCSERVCO Toner Scam Escondido, California

On 2/11/2010, a woman called our unuspecting Receptionist and informed her that we had place an order for toner for our Canon IR3025 and that they had neglected to inform us of the price increase from $439 to $539.  They said that because it was their mistake they were going to lock us in at the old price of $439.  They said they would fax a sheet staing that we were locked in and that the receptionist needed to sign it and fax it back ASAP.

Our receptionist received the fax, signed it and faxed it back.

On 2/12/2010, our receptionist brought the fax to me to ask which department needed the document.  One look at it and I knew it was a scam so I did some research.  The toner that they wanted to sell us costs $59 at another office supply company.  I also found other instances of rip offs from this company.  I asked a male employee to call and cancel the order.  When he called they told him that we had ordered a CARTON of toner cartridges!  He cancelled the order and told them to fax us an order cancellation.  A few minutes later we received the ORDER CONFIRMATION page via fax with a huge X drawn through it.
