I have never met this massage therapist before, but she is about 3-4 miles from my home so I thought I would try her services. I scheduled online a week ago for today at 2:00 p.m. and at 1:23 I received a text from her stating she was running behind from a doctor's appointment and traffic and could I schedule for 4:00? Since it is my day off, I agreed to it although at that point I was a bit skeptical. That was a lot of excuses already in the first request. So 25 minutes before the 4:00 appointment, I get another text from her telling me she is still running behind but asks me to wait in the waiting area. I text her back and inquire how late is she planning to be because I have plans? She tells me it will be 4:00-ish and that she has to set up but then will be ready. I told her I had plans so I can't wait too long. I tell her I can wait until 4:10 at the latest. She suggests that we re-schedule so I am not feeling pressed for time. I tell her no, I'm fine as long as we don't start much later then 4:00. Silly me... taking her at her word, I drive there, sit and wait another 25 minutes and text her while I'm waiting to tell her I'm there. No response. Finally I walk out and send her a text that she just wasted 2.5 hours of my time on my day off this week, and I should bill her for total time spent waiting plus the cost of the massage, which I already paid for online. A bit after that, she replies telling me she thought I wanted to re schedule and she apologized for wasting my time.  Good for her. There were other things I could have been doing while waiting for her to not show up 2.5 hours later. I do NOT recommend this person... she seems dishonest and full of excuses and I really doubt I will ever recover what I paid for this massage.
