I saw and ad for a face cream on Facebook.  It was advertised as a "free trial" offer and you pay only $4.95 for shipping.

There was nothing about further payments or cancellation dates.  I paid the $4.95 with my Capital one visa card and forgot about it.  Withing the week, I received the free trial.  There was no receipt inclosed in the package or anything that indicated there would be a charge of $84.95.  Only instructions for application. Not even a list of ingredients.

Shortly afterward I was hospitalized for 8 days on an emergency basis.  When I arrived home and was checking transdactions on my credit card, I noticed the fee of $84.95.  I went online and found a phone number and called the company.  They told me they could deducted half of the fee but I owed the rest.  I told them that I was going to dispute the whole charge with the credit card company.

I did a dispute with Capital one and they remved the charge.  Then the charge was put back on as the company said they had proof that I bought the product.  I'm disputing it again with the credit card company and have faxed my information to them.

I feel this company is a scam and I should not have to pay anything except the $4.95 that I initially agreed to.  I saw nothing that indicated there would be another charge of $84.95.  How many people have they done this to???
