In January 2009 Brad Boothby at WebBusiness360 built my website and set up the hosting.

Throughout the time that he hosted my website, nearly 2 years, I have received emails on an almost monthly basis notifying me that my email is down. On average it took about 4-6 hours to get it back up and running. In addition, on numerous occasions my website was down for unnecessary periods of time lasting up to 48 hours. This last time, when I called to see why my website was down, yet again, I was informed that it had been down for 24 hours and would hopefully be up by the following day. When I asked why I was not notified I was told by Brad that he didnt want to be bothered by me calling every minute to see if my site was back up and running. Brad Boothby and Web Business 360's inability to keep a website up and running combined with their inexplicable lack of customer service is appalling. I have never in my life worked with someone who sold such a poor malfunctioning product and did not do his or her best to make it right.  To make things worse, when I notified Brad and Web Business 360 that I was moving my hosting company Brad told me it would cost $125 an hour, discounted from $150 per hour. When I asked how long it would take, he could not give me an estimate or a limit on what it would cost. I was happy to pay for his time, but not without knowing what the potential cost would be. Considering the reason I need to move the site in the first place his inability to keep it working- you would think he would be willing to assist me in the process.  If anyone should receive additional compensation it should be his clients for the lost business resulting from websites that could not be accessed by consumers.

Web Business 360 - Brad Boothby

AUTHOR: San Diego Business Owner - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 09, 2011

Brad Boothby with Web Business 360 is blatantly lying about a few things which I think it is necessary to clear up.

1. Below I have attached the invoice for hosting service sent to me by Brad.  Although a different name is on the invoice it is clear that his wife, Rebekka Boothby is the contact and that Brad and Rebekka are my primary contact for hosting service.

2. Brad Boothby did NOT notify me that my hosting was down.  I contacted him on numerous occasions when my site was not working.  His words were, and I quote " I did not tell you because I did not want you calling me every minute to see when your site would be back up". He told me he was not the hosting company and just the liazon.  When I asked for the name of the "hosting company" he told me he could not give it to me and I could not call them.  If this is true, how am I supposed to resolve a situation without his assistance?

3. Since the service that Brad Boothby with Web Business 360 set up for me did not work, and failed on numerous occasions, I had expected that he might assist me in moving it to a new hosting site that might function properly.  I set up an account somewhere else and he refused to send me the necessary files to move it over.  I ended up hiring someone else MUCH more competent to complete the job.

4. Brad and I were in a networking group together which he was thrown out of do to bad experiences with numerous members.  After complaints from members for lack of service and poor execution, he was asked to leave the group.  An obvious result of his unprofessionalism and poor ability to do his job correctly.

5. Brad Boothby did offer to build the site for $1000.  I NEVER told him it was in return for referrals.  The $1000 website offer was available to anyone in the group in order to bring in business and give us a chance to see his process and quality of work. Needless to say, since many of us had bad experiences, the referrals did not flow favorably in his direction.

I do not claim to be saavy when it comes to technology or the internet.  Many individuals are not saavy in this area and expect that regardless of their knowledge that they will be treated fairly and with respect.  I was not the recipient of either of these.

When I posted the initial complaint is was simply to warn other individuals who do not know much about web design, development or hosting to be weary of Brad Boothby and Web Business 360.  I would not want others to be taken advantage of the way I was.

I am also confused as to the reason a screenshot of my website was necessary in the rebuttal....

Testimonial for Guide My Finances - Jaclyn "Jackie" Schell Weitzberg

AUTHOR: Brad - (United States of America)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 18, 2011

We perform search engine optimization and build website for those customers whose website does not perform or do not have one, as in the case of Jackie Weitzberg, now married as Jaclyn Schell. We do not provide hosting services. We recommend hosting for our customers that do not have it, only as a convenience. This was made clear when I recommended hosting services and many times afterwards. However the person I recommended did not want to communicate with her, so I tried to help mediate.

In fact, I went the extra mile to notify Jackie (Jaclyn Schell Weitzberg) inthe infrequent times that the hosting went down. Most hosting companies do not notify you when your site goes down or charges extra for this service.

When I am working with clients, I do not take phone calls, so my office administrator returned Jackie's calls. The administrator states that it was never said nor implied that Jackie Weitzberg was "calling every minute" and I believe that. It was explained that I couldn't answer phone calls at the moment and repeated that I do not have direct control over the hardware and am in contact with the technicians.

Jackie signed up with GoDaddy hosting but without considering what plan would be best for her content management system and was told to copy her files there. I tried to explain that her website needs more than just copying files. I am compassionate that Jackie doesn't understand technology, nor should she have to understand it. However she made the decision to go to GoDaddy so I explained that I would have to take some time to evaluate her hosting plan. Jackie would only consider a fixed price and I would not give a fixed price estimate. I gave her a time and dollar estimate range. I suggested to Jackie that she get a web hosting company to move her existing website. When she found someone else to move the site, Jackie demanded ftp access. I gave it to her under the condition that I am no longer responsible for the website and that any more time would be billed. I sent a contract. Jackie continued asking questions since her people didn't know how to move the site with only ftp access. I continued asserting that I wouldn't explain or give more answers without compensation. I am now giving her free hosting since her people weren't able to understand the content management system and how to move it with ftp access.

The website, (((Redacted))) that I built for Jackie Weitzberg contains a content management system that allows her to write, edit and add content very easily using the same site navigation that you see, sort of like this website. Usually websites with a content management system cost $2,500 - $5,000 for a basic one. Jackie was part of a networking group with me and claimed not to have much money to invest in a website. I built this one for under $1000 with the promise of getting more referrals. I did not receive referrals from Jackie Weitzberg. After reading her emails with the tone you see in this report and then reading this report, I do not want referrals from Jackie, Jaclyn Schell (Weitzberg).
