oooPS....Did I call them a COMPANY???  What was I thinking of?  I am with you, they rip us off and do not pay us and THEN threaten legal action against us. I already told them good luck getting a lawyer to take your side when you have left workers unpaid.  They follow a definate pattern:

1.  They hire you to make calls and immediately send you lists and contract to sign.  You know the one that says you will be paid every two weeks.  When I first hitched my star to this dog and pony show, it was EVERY WEEK, then it changed to every two weeks.  SURE that way, they eeek out another week of work from you that you will never see a dime of pay from.

2.  Once week number two comes and goes, they SAY NOTHING to you about where the pay is, when it is coming how or if it is coming.  YOU have to ask them.  Then the dance starts.  They say the reps have not paid yet, they should have something by Thursday .....  they never say Friday..they say Thursday...so you think they have time to meet their payroll. 

3.  Once the week ends and you question them about pay, they ask if you would like to be TEAM LEADER, steady hourly pay above what you were earning now (not getting, but earning)  instead of low hourly pay plus commission on appointments set. 
This buys them more time YOUR TIME...NOT THIERS.

4.  Now here is the clincher.  I worked for them around the same time you did, November, December...so the Holidays got blamed.  They said after the first of the year, everything would be straightened out.  Well, that did not happen.  I started not signing on, not calling.  I STILL HAD TO WRITE TO THEM ABOUT MY PAY.  And that "team leader thing" never came up in the conversation again.  Good thing actually...imagine being the leader of a bunch of unpaid workers....not my idea of a good time. 

5.  Now we get mad....we tell them we want our money and then we communicate with other employees...Oh, this does not sit well with them at all...even though they tell you that YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE COMPLAINING ABOUT NOT being paid..Everyone else is just so understanding...so now you are the bad guy AND they threaten you with legal action. 

If I was not a victim of this I would think it sounded like a clip from the Stupid Criminials series. Well, there are legitimate places to work for from home.  Don't let these people make you think you just cannot work from home.  They have preyed on unemployed, handicapped workers who must work from home.  We may not ever see it but when you do bad to others knowingly, it always comes back on you 10 times over.  Mark my words...they only "THINK" they have gotten away with it. 

My problem is with the law enforcement agencies in the area.  With my luck, if I pulled a stunt like that I would be handcuffed to the radiator waiting for a lynch mob to show up.  Is there some particular reason WHY they have not investigated our charges?  Who do these people know that they can do things like this and continue without interruption??  Hey, Sheriffs in Ohio...you have thieves in your area who target handicapped, unemployed and shut-ins.  We have contacted you and sent you proof that this is going on.  Shame on anyone who lets this happen on their watch.  L.
