Leg Magic - Merchandise Direct TV Infomercial For Leg Magic Is A Fraud, Overcharges & Won't Allow Cancellation or Refund Money Wallingford Connecticut

I ordered Leg Magic exercise product from an infomercial on Dec. 16, 2007. I was supposed to be charged 14.95 for a 30 day trial and shipping and handling was free. I didn't order fast delivery and was told it would arrive in 4-6 weeks.

On Dec. 19, 2007 I tried to cancel my order but was told by a very rude agent that I couldn't cancel as the product already shipped and I was charged not 14.95 but 30.05. I was told the extra 15.10 was for shipping and when I said shipping was free I was told the extra charge was for tax.

I received the product on Jan 15, 2008 and sent it back with the help of my UPS mail man who wrote "Return To Sender" in bold black ink with the date. I never opened the product.

59.95 was taken out of my account without my permission on Jan 22, 2008 and again on Feb 22, 2008.

When I tried to call the company I only reached Spanish-speaking agents. I kept trying and was told the money would be refunded when the product was received.

The last time I called the company was Feb 21, 2008. I spoke to a man named Ricky (Operator 952) who said they hadn't received my product yet. When I explained that my bank is investigating my claim of fraud against their company and that my UPS mail man who knows me sent the product back from the UPS store, Ricky said I'll receive a refund in 2-3 business days.

Today is Feb 26, 2008 and I haven't received any refunds and my account is scheduled for another deduction of 59,95 on March 22, 2008. My bank advised me to cancel my debit/credit card and reorder a new one.

Please do not order anything from this company. Read all of the complaints on this and similar websites for consumer protection.
