I made a purchase on TopQualityComp.com, and it turns out this website is a complete scam (note to those coming across this in a search: don't purchase anything from there!).

Unfortunately, I was stupid in sending them a wire, and am unable to dispute the transaction at this point. My goods never shipped. I am out $260. After endless contacting of the company, I have filed reports with the BBB and FTC. I have send e-mails, faxes, phone calls, and a letter to this company. Nothing.

They simply don't respond, and trying to get in contact with them simply leads to dead ends.

I did a bit more digging, and their "Testimonials" are directly pulled from other websites. They claim to have high ratings from the Better Business Bureau, but only complaints actually exist in regards to their company. Their phone number redirects to something called "CallWave". Their business address isn't even theirs, it is the address of another building they are purportedly in.

#1 UPDATE EX-employee responds

I apologize for anyone I personally hurt. Involving Top Quality Computer, and me Ian Allegro

AUTHOR: Ian - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, March 29, 2009

Dear victims of Top Quality Computer,

My name is Ian Allegro.
I sincerely apologize for anyone that has been hurt by this "company."

If you sent money to me, I did not take it,
I was "hired" by a man named Anton who told me to receive money and than send it to Nigeria to either an Ojo Williams, or a Vincent Temitope.

I honestly did not know that this whole thing was a scam and that I, like you, am a victim.
My reputation has been hurt, but that's not as bad as lost money, especially during these tough times.

I have notified the authorities and am completely having nothing to do with this "company."
I am only sixteen years old, so this as hurt me very drastically.

Again, I would like to apologize for people that have been hurt by this, and would encourage you, like me, to spread the word that this company is bad business so that no one else gets hurt.

Thank You,
Ian Allegro
