We recently had the unfortunate time to meet Brian Leeper. We are in the market to buy our first home. We first were going to rent, but a friend of ours who is a mortgage broker was able to get us financed, so we started shopping. We are a young, Cuban couple that have been living in Tyler for the last two years and were excited to buy our first home. We shopped and we shopped, but couldn't find anything we liked, but eventually we came across Brian's house in the paper.
We drove buy and liked what we saw so we called and set up a time to meet. Our first impression of Brian was great. We thought he was a nice guy, even though he was reluctant to shake my hand and he gave us a funny look. My first impression of the property was not good. It had a very distinct smell when we walked in. I couldn't place my finger on it, but it was nauseating. Brian's phone rang and he had to walk off, so we walked around, trying to hold our breath. After a little while we went looking for Brian, when we found him, he was still on the phone, and we heard him say, "I'm showing a house to a bunch of "the n-word" and then I'll be there.
This upset us greatly. We're not African-American, but it was incredibly offensive. We immediatly left, without saying anything.

He tried to call us but we ignored his calls. I eventually did some research and found out that he has an extensive criminal background. But the most disturbing was the property he was selling was not even in his name. I don't know what he's doing, but I believe it to be a scam. He's not a realtor, nor did he say he was. I sent a letter to the title holder to let them know what is going on. This is a warning to any potential buyers of this property. Stay away!!

Completely False Report, They tried to keep me from selling my house

AUTHOR: Brian Leeper - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, September 07, 2009

They are the scam artist!  WH invesments or whatever name the company is this month.  Since I reported them on ripoffreport, they attempted to railroad me while I was in the process of selling my house.  Well it didn't work because I did sell my house.  They already had my name, address, and phone number because they got it off of houseforsale.com.  They had tried to scam me by offering to buy my house in two years for 12 thousand over the listing price, while they rented it out to someone on a lease to purchase program.  Well reports about them on ripoffreport.com was that they would never pay me and all this time they would collect $1500 rent on my house.  Basically they would be leasing a home that they don't own or even have to make payments on.  Great scam, I'll have to admit.  Thank goodness for ripoffreport.com, or I might have been another victom.

They Tried to Keep Me From Selling My House

AUTHOR: Brian Leeper - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, September 06, 2009

Yeah, I figured this was written by someone in the company that tried to rip me off before.  They were called WH Investments, apperently opperating out of Orlando, FL.  They also had many other names.  The owners would go by diffent names as well.

I actually find this report very amusing.  A young Cuban couple in Tyler, TX?  And his name is Mike?

Yes, I had my house up for sale and they must have found my name and address in something like houseforsale.com.  They contacted me and offered to buy my house in two years for 12 thousand over the listing price.  They would then lease my house out to someone who would buy my house from them in two years as well (lease to purchase program).  But the scam they would perform would be to never pay me for the home and they draw rent on property.  Receiving rent on property that you don't even own or make payments to is a pretty good business.  Also, a good scam on those who are desparate to sell their home.

Well, I sold my house.  Tried to sell it myself, but finally had to give it up to a realtor.  Don't think this report got in the way, just hard to sell by yourself sometimes.
